Nope.. According to the uploader, the video owner didn't set his time stamp correctly. If u look closer, it actually says 9pm. Too bright to be 9pm. Haha. Video was taken last Friday afternoon..

Just curious, can this be used as evidence if the video time stamp was inaccurate?

Anyway the driver should be charged for dangerous driving. Dammn it!

[video=youtube;iluQYylIY-8]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iluQYylIY-8

Omg tat is crazy. E lorry driver is either drunk or just not paying attention. Lorry only travel a bit and came back into lane 2,common sense will noe tat diatance not far enough yet.

This video is a example of y on expressway staying on left lane is not entirely safe as those lanes will consist more of this type of vehicles.

Really terrible see e rider fly. ._. Hope he is alive. Lucky lorry never run also.

Fir those who may not wishbto wat h all e way, it is near e last quarter

i would say the lorry driver is neither drunk or just not paying attention. he had been tailgating the bike for the past 2-3 mins already. how can he not know there is a bike there?

most probably he wanna squeeze the bike out of the lane but went in too fast and furious. i do hope he gets his license revoked and go spend some time in prison to reflect on what he had done.

btw the rider is a lady, not a dude

u need to be young and reckless to become old and wise..... if u survive

I still say, heavy vehicles should not be allowed on the expressway... Lol.. ;P

Anyway, what the fcuk was he doing on the extreme right lane? Isn't there a law that states clearly vehicles with a speed limit of 70kmh or less should not even enter the right lane? Wth, he shouldn't even be on the middle lane because the extreme left lane was completely empty...

That one is their problem, not mine... Don't make their problem our problem... See what happens if we make their problem our problem? We get knocked down or stuck in congestion on the "express" way... Express ki LAN ah... Lol... >_

50 or 60 not much difference ba? They will still drive like maniac.

TPs should conduct more frequent patrols on expressway.

guys & gals, please all cool down 1st.

this is obviously NOT an accident. watch the video carefully...

0:23 & 1:40 will reveal that the driver was tailgating her all this time. when at 2:07 he steer right, it means obviously he had seen her, if not what for steer right?

this is not a mistake, or the driver's fault for not obeying speed limit, lorry Should not go middle lane, never check blind spot, careless driver nonsense. Intentional, where got careless?

from the actions of the lady rider, it appears she is the goody goody rider that obey traffic rules like she was taught in riding school. all " law by law" one.

what is most sickening is not the driver (which he is). it is the reaction on the web of people who say she is road hogging, should not have stayed in the lane, should have rode in the left lane, blah blah like it was her fault. if it was her fault, it also means it was traffic laws fault, which taught her to do these things as it is supposed to be "safe". if anything, she was too "safe" & "good", that's why kanna bullied.

speeding, Lane spliting, zig zag kanna complained. staying in lane, give safety distance, steady no zig zag, stay within speed limit ( ie. hogging ) now these people say cannot. what they want? disgusting...

Now a goody law by law safe rider also kanna complained. WTF? disgusting foolish ignorant arrogant pricks that condone or excuse such things. that is why the roads are unsafe.

please lah...excuse me for my bad boy riding behaviour. it is how i survive :p when these kind of bullying is very common. every week got at least once. anybody who have ride long enough or often enough will know this. nothing unusual. business as usual. if i had been a goody, law by law, i won't be so "safely alive" typing here. survival of the fittest, HARD TRUTHS lah! Lol!

Today while riding to camp for reservist, morning start to drizzle.... :sian:

While on Mandai going to BKE, I was in the middle lane, looking for a gap to go in, got a lady driver come out of the left lane to overtake the cars going into the filter lane. Got horn by me of course. I got the video, but to blur to see properly with all the rain drops on the visor.

Then on the way home, I video-ed a father using handphone while waiting at a traffic junction, then drove off late, because still using the handphone. But the guy's was driving ok, and I got home safely, so not reporting him, even though I got the video.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

Wasted forgot to bring my cam today. Almost got sideswiped by a lorry just as I was entering the filter lane. It is a 2 lane road. Was on the most left lane and exactly beside the passenger door of the lorry but of course got about 1metre gap. Lorry was on the right lane. Entered filter lane and guess what? Driver can happily swerve in and take up half of my lane and its just centimetres from hitting me. The filter lane is just 1 lane if you must know. Turned to look at driver but driver gave me the 'What see see' look. Opened throttle and got as far away from the lorry to get home safely. Sorry no video this time.

I am so agree with you, no way the rider at any fault, the driver should be charged manslaughter for intented murder.

where the reaction of the web of people??

View the original video in Facebook & yahoo link. Some negative comments to the rider, dunno what these ppl are think or they actually ride/drive, or they are just some kids who sit at home and nothing better to do.

Some are just normal pedestrians who jaywalks but will never admit. Some are drivers who cannot accept bikes are faster than their family car.

I'm of the thought that bikers that have enough power, use the first lane and overtake all the way.. If cannot. Then LS safety to get away from dangerous drivers. People can talk all they want with their mouth, at the end of the day, if injury happen, bikers suffer with their own body.

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

personally, the rider could have done something about it. she could have changed lane to get him off her ass. i will never give these tailgaters a chance to screw up at my expense. I e-brake, he hit me = i die. defensive riding is the key. wish her a speedy recovery and hope local riders learn a thing or two from this incident. s**t happens, but sometimes can do some prevention. :)

A ride a day, keeps the doctor away!
