Been a few weeks riding on the left lane as my bike running in. And drivers still wanna tailgate me. Troll them by ntermittent braking all the way. Hahaha and when they finally move to the other lane i would always wonder "from just now the other lane was clear, can overtake me or change lane what why still wanna tailgate me"

Whenever i kena those pple on e road n gonna lose my temper, my kids faces came to mind n i juz let it go... In few yrs time, when my kids reach e age of 18, i'll encourage both to take bike license coz my dream is to go touring with them...

Personally, I use the ring on my left hand 4th finger to remind me consistently.. But sometimes, personally it's still very annoying..

 

But again, when kids comes into picture, it's alot more den just you alone..

 

 

Anyway, back to PJ, ride defensively.. and back to your comfort zone.. just make sure you dun speed too fast until 0 reaction time will do..

 

for the rest, look back at mirror, tap brakes if a car is coming.. if they are fast, engage gear and "prepare" to LS or beat red light to pavement.. Seriously.. I rather beat red light to go up pavement rather den kanna bang by the backside.. I also tio before..

Sometimes being tailgated on the extreme right lane also means you are road hogging.

The 1st lane is meant for overtaking and emergency vehicle if you remember your theory.

If you think you've already exceeded your speed limit, keep left.

There are other road users who might be comfortable in travelling at an even higher speed than you.

If I report to TP she talking on the phone, the insurance won't pay for anything, the TP will summon her $1-2k and I might not get anything from her...

 

Insurance won't pay for her... TP will summon her plus possibly revoke her licence and jail term. I'm sorry, but the penalty increase liao. You can sue her after that, for causing accident and claim from her. But obviously more hassle. But it's clearcut 100% you win she lose. Basic theory already say very clearly, regardless emergency or not, driver not to pick up phone unless parked safely.

 

I'm also surprised you didnt claim private settlement from her if sueing too troublesome. Macam let her go scot-free... She'll do it again. Trust me.

Seriously dunno wat talking. My impression is u think u noe but really u dunno.

 

Using mobile = violate traffic law. = claimable. Only when a vehicle operator use e vehicle under a condition where he/she cannot judge then insurance will void. Etc, drunk, took medi, medically declared crazy, medically declae unfit to drive.

 

But in e above scenarios, e legal system will take over. U can just request to use e public system lawyer or engage ur own since sure win cases.

 

To sum up, on e road if insurance not void easy settle. If cases tat insurance will void then can just bring to law system and fight it out. Of coz dependant on e case. So ur case, even if insurance void (which it isnt) u can still sue e person sure win since its rear end u. Even if e car got video still no case. (unless ur post didnt state all e facts and u may lose thus just ranting)

 

Bottomline, rear end, front vehicle win unless proven otherwise. Y u think we all scare taxi tat sudden stop to pick passager? Dunno u genius or idiot. ._.

 

Ps: i will be polite in e beginning but buai tahan le. i dun like to mince my words like other forumers which hide meaning behind their post. I give it to u straight.

 

Ps: someone else also mention on phone accident cant claim. If tat is so then i got my info wrong. Still, clear case u can sue. So no idea y u let it go. If u got private settlement = got money to repair so no problem. Should include claim for transport which no use of bike. If dun wan pay just go court.

So private settlement and hope she just learn not to use hp while driving... She's a senior manager of raffles medical, maybe answer a call regarding life and death issue la... Dunno... Was following a kup with pillion for some distance already. Speed was 30-50 range.

 

As usual i keep 1-2 bike distance but sudden e kup just slow down. But no isse to me as safe distance. Turn out e reason is becOz e rider & pillion was waving to another rider who just entered e eway. Wtf.........

Massive jam on SLE towards CTE. AVOID

 

A 15 feet type lorry hit a bigger lorry. Driver trapped.

 

Two fire engines on site. Took up lane 1 and 2 and possibly lane 3 as well.

 

Hope he will be fine.

Close call today. Was returning home, nearing traffic junction got one Prime Mover stop 1 car length behind the stop line. taxi was to the right. Got space inbetween to squeeze infront of the prime mover. Felt not safe, stayed to wait. When moving off, my subconcious told me to keep a distance as the truck position abit uncommon.

 

KE-TONG! The prime mover's back wheel accidently mounted the kurb and the truck tilted right quite badly. The truck had jerked 1 meter towards the right. Very loud and scary. Lucky I followed my safety voice man. Or else i'll be under the tyre if I Kilas the truck.

 

To all riders, keep clear of heavy vehicles if possible. They cant see you, u cant predict their movements as well as cars.
