No need to whack them la... Whack already Kena police case rabak la... Assault with deadly weapon or assault by dangerous means or Voluntarily Causing Grievous Hurt by dangerous means or VCH by dangerous means... All also arrest case... We riders, just take helmet to scare people who cause/ almost cause us to have accidents... It is our only means of defending ourselves on the road, and on the footpath... Because attackers use cars to bang us or use knives, metal poles to attack us... The helmet is our only means of defense against those two attackers mentioned... But so far, didn't have time to grab my helmet when I was attacked yet... Twice I was attacked... Twice also didn't get the chance to use helmet on the attackers... What a waste... :(

 

Not if I headbutt him hahahah

eh eh, no violence lah, alamak. But anyways, i ran into the same guy a few days ago, he avoided taking the same lift as me, so i decided to just go talk to him, and i explained that i am very angry because he nearly caused my death or serious injury. Then he actually told me he used to drive like that cos at night he didnt think many people will be travelling in and out of the carpark. But since that incident, he actually scared liao. Then somemore i grip the helmet until damn tight everything, he scared i whack him.

 

then i tell him, i was half angry at that time, at the same time, half acting angry. then offered to buy him kopi and had a bit of a chat lah... now ok liao... +1 reformed dricver...

Guys please take note,

ROAD CLOSURE BKE(WOODLANDS) FROM PIE TONIGHT 0030-0500 hours... Which means 9th April 2013 12:30AM-5:00AM the road will be closed... That's a slip road from PIE TO BKE... Not sure if bke to pie is affected or not...

I had a thought after reading this post. After a touch wood thing. Even if no injury, keep helmet on, demand to speak with e driver, when he step out, pretend u shock nearly faint and fall into e driver with ur helmet on. :)

Today 1st time manage to stop and attempt to assist another rider. Sincerely, really not tat easy to stop and help. Today becoz it was at e eway exit and it was a bend thus already slowed down before i even saw e rider.

 

Didnt manage to help much either as e rider already lifted his bike. Only made sure he physically really ok and also made sure tat he didnt need to get e van's driver contact number. (a van driver was assisting)

 

Also not sure e spd and situation tat he fell but he was wearing full face, armor and gloves, only saw his left shoulder cloth tear a bit.

 

Sadly, e rider also admitted tat wat happened was due to sleepiness.

 

So, summary

 

1) dun ride if sleepy, drunk or under medication. Riding requires our full attention and focus.

 

2) protection does help. At e least, wear gloves. Full face or a fitting open face.

 

3) it is not tat easy to stop and assist most of e time. Respect to those who try to do it!

Yup, that's correct. I do not wear armor pants either. But i'm currently ordering an armored jacket and looking at protective, yet casual-looking enough shoes. Both from Alpinestar.

 

Also found a pricier pair from Icon.

 

Aiming to be at least MOTGATT.

Saw this last sunday evening along jln boon lay at junction of jrg bird park.. Lorrys and etc jammed brake coz they didnt see it from far away.. Lucky no accidentsss

Good for you!!!!

 

Yesterday while riding along Lentor, I saw a car high beam from the opposite side of the road, then a few seconds later, got a taxi also flashed his high beam and this was nearing the infamous Bullion Park bridge.

 

Hmmmm .... .... this is too much of a coincidence... o_O

And I slowed down to 70km/hr on my Phantom meter and keep to the leftmost lane.

 

The car behind me got impatient, and overtook me going at least 80km/hr.

I was scanning the bridge and saw no one there.

 

Strange.... why no one one? :confused:

 

Then I saw a TP QX patrol car and a Police van.

Sure enough at a corner of the bridge, hiding near the staircase are 2 policemen with a camera!!! :eek:

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.
