from what i know, the headlight (for my type) can be fix onto the bike without any brackets. but it will be in a very awkward position. flashing down.

alex's phantom pic. i guess he just mount directly onto the bike without bracket.

1) There isnt a way to incorporate both the ignition key with the boxes, unless its integrated with the bike, which apparently it isnt.

However, you can go on dwn to Chiap Lee/219/LAB to have all yr boxes lock change just to 1 universal lock, sorry I dont know abt the cost though.

2) There is a mileage limit. But I dont really remember how much. :sorry:

What I did was, always tk note of the slack of the chain, once the slack is adjusted till almost unadjustable, then would reccomend to change the chain & both sprockets. :thumb:

Correct me if Im wrong.

1) Shld be $16-18.(Last quote frm Ah Koon)

2) :sorry: , not really sure, can be found @ LAB/Ah Koon/Loois

3) xanc's the forumer name, thread can be found in under Product Mass Ordering section. Pricing's included. ;)

& you are refering to box brackets? Metal is more sturdy & rigid than plastics as its brittle.

As for stickies... Customizing can be found @ 219, Lavender St, or another shop that is along Jln Besar, just walk back towards the traffic lights & you spot the shop.

Note: Price might be steep, as its according to size & colour...

Also, prone to itchy fingers pilfering it too...

How I know? Cos mine got done.... :nono:

AhPui, i changed my chain when it couldnt be tightened anymore.. Sprockets, when they're sharp-edged, blunt, etc... Think you can get the image examples from the manual. Last time my old TA150's back sprocket was faulty (too sharp already) and had weird wheezing-like noises from the back wheel.

Akarui_Siren.. Plastic doesnt break easily compared to metal?

Metal can bend. Plastic breaks.

I got customized 2 stickers frm 219, was on my boxes(on my TA) for abt only 3 months, 1 fine evening after I come back frm my usual football session(was riding my Steed then), found something amiss after parking the bike, then it caught my attention that the stickies have been long gone & only the mark of it left.

Just a pointer...

If u decide to install a few electrical items such as extra lights or even FM receiver, ensure that you do have sufficient groundings. Or else, u will not have a pleasant ride!!

Mine is under NTUC Income

I think you can buy from any insurance company you like.

If you renew through the bikeshop, they will earn a commission but less hassle.

wanna check, for the wheel chain, wat the diff between gold chain and non gold chain?

Posted

some bikeshops do not get commission for renewal of insurance.

you may renew via Mitsui directly, or via bikeshop.

as for gold or not gold chain, difference is the colour... haha!

Ok well i think its not good enough to ask by their colours, as different brands have different colour makes too.

U mean the rider's left footrest?

Many bikeshops should have it. Go LAB lah they have (almost) everything.

Hi..i just passed mt TP not long ago. Decided on phantom as it is stable den other bikes.

Some questions...

1) how much is the insurance for a newbie like me. ( should be buying mitsui)

2) is it true that phantom needs less maintainance?

3) is it troublesome for tall people?
