your rear brake pump is clogged with gunk. Get it and your calipers serviced if you don't know how to DIY.

recently cleared the gunk on my front brake caliper in school. Realised whats been restricting my calipers and making me use "hydraulic" brakes always :cheeky:

Morale: its good to DIY , sense of satisfaction.

Hi, would like to ask if anyone know where to buy the new custom 4 logo. Really like the new logo, would love to rip the old one out and put on the new 1, after a fresh paint work.

just remove the calipers from the forks, release the brake pads, and clean?

is there anything to clean at the lever? its just a handle with a pivot point to squeeze? not? so u took off the lever and cleaned something...

i think ill cleanup the calipers/brake pads this week. been thru so many thunderstorms brakes are starting to get slightly retarded.

by the way, what size wrench to get to open that engine oil cap below?

ps:the forums seem to enjoy throwing that server busy message plenty these days.

Hey all,

I recently got my engine oil changed as with every other mth. However, I can't help but feel that my bike's idling speed has somewhat increased. The sound to me is like the ta-ta-ta-ta sound is at a rate of abt "3 ta-s" per second. (ie 1 second = ta-ta-ta). And it seems like I no longer need to kick up to gear 6 at 80km/h. Gear 5 seems fine.

How many ta-ta-ta per second should be normal?

How can I lower my idling speed? I could never quite understand which knob previous posts were referring to.

Thankew!

?!?!?!?!?!?! ta-ta-ta per second?!?! PENGZ!!!!

Idling speed not related to engine oil hor.

yup no relation, idling is the one at the carburettor like a screw shaped thing that can be twisted left or right,

can be adjusted by a reliable mech or best try and error but careful not too have too low idling just to save fuel coz sometimes bike might stall in the middle of the traffic while making a right turn like i did:cheeky:

hope that helps:thumb:

wah, if i understand all this ta ta correctly, your idle is super low, watch out for the thunderstorms cooling the engine too much.

i just put mine higher coz i never ever stop for the rains. Always geared up when the skies turn grey.

put so low, also can't save much fuel, skali u wanna turn, the bike die, kuku at the back just assume, ram into u... Hor seh liao!

maybe its your choke that is being pulled out without you knowing. There are cases of those whose choke are kinda faulty and opens by itself.

Hi guys.

My battery died on me and i'm planning to change the battery on my own. Is there anyone out there who could direct me roughly as to where the battery is located and which screws i should remove?

I just bought a new battery. Thank u. :)

feel around your seat. its below your seat. 8mm spanner for the rear end of the seat, and 12mm for the two sides. for the sides u need a rather special spanner to open. the conventional one can't reach the screw. good luck! :D
