Yo peeps just to find out... Which engine oil do you use when you bring your TA200 to planet for servicing??

i've tried many, castrol gold to elf to fuchs. i find fuchs is the best for my bike. doesn't get eaten..

how much is fuchs for semi and full?

 

i been using maxima full for about a year already.. not bad love it.. but wanna change something cheaper and still able to maintain the standard

Where else could the EO could have gone if i dun have white smoke coming out nor oil leaking from the engine. travel abt 1.2k the level from high go to low on the dip stick...

for me normal castrol eo will do, cheap cheap 10 bucks,

sounds weird, unless u measure once, when warmed up, and once, in the morning... else i also wonder where the oil disappear to. Mine from brand new till EO turned into kopi 0, lose about 100ml.

Not much diff, tried the Fully syn Golden bottle, tried the NASA one and now using the Black semi syn one.

 

All almost the same.

err.. the Fuchs one semi 10.. bike doesn't respond as well but it doesn't get eaten..

hey maybe you check it while the engine is running or just switch. off .remember

you have to allow the EO to settle back to the sump before checking...maybe half an hour?? best to check when engine is cold...

i remember some oil advert saying that the EO very sticky type and hang on to all over the engine even when it is cold...maybe thats the reason...

wah den like that cold or not cold also won't have enough wad... i think its not THAT sticky la lol... have to monitor and look carefully if got white smoke liao. If dun have + no leaking i guess its ok... just top up regularly lor... zzz

oil dont disaappear ...they drip all over the place when u park ride..

 

maybe someone took afancy to your oil and help himself....oil junkie hehe

Hi Guys, I just got my bike. Got some questions.

When after i ride, i off my engine. There is a tink tink sound. Is it ok 1?

Then i put on my side stand, there is a few drops of water dripping from dunno where. Is it ok 1?

okay for 1st, its a NORM. Locate where the water came from? Water or Liquid or Oil? located near front/rear/middle of bike ? after rain?

 

Do yourself a Favour dude, read from PAGE 1 of this thread till current 98 and it'll do you good and answer MOST of your questions NOW and in time to come

posted the above problem few weeks ago.. now that the EO is changed.. i find that i am still having the same problem..

any idea what may be the problem?

1) The ticking sound is normal, nothing to worry about.

 

2) Water dripping from your bike is also normal if you had just ridden in or after rain

(I'm not trying to be funny, but it just illustrates that if you need help, you have to describe your problem SPECIFICALLY. If you don't know or can't see where the water is dripping from? Then how in blue blazers are WE in the forum supposed to know?? )

1..clutch gone....wah y when u ride at high rpm ...smell something burning>.

most probably you can smell something not right when u stop..at red light or when you park your bike..

 

2. high rpm??? bike not going any faster...

 

3.. vibratiion sets in..

 

4.. mechanical noises when you engage gear during ride..this is where clutch is really botak..

 

you may experience one or more symptoms...if none then clutch okay//:angel:

2)i experience before its carb or fliter problem in my case..

 

4)mech told me seem he heard something similar to what u have said..

 

anyway mine bike is cbr150.. he was saying might required overhual for mine..

 

my bike seem draggy while accelerating while i cant maintain the same speed as i used to get on the same rpm.
