yo yeonorman,i would recommend maxima chain wax to u,but some other pple will say scott oiler too.scott oiler is auto one,so no need to spray ur self.maxima chain wax muz spray ur self. i myself lube my chain once a week after i finish washing my bike.but after riding thru rain,i might also lube the chain to prevent rust.

for chrome parts, best not to go scrub the thing.caz chrome alrady got protective film on top le,u go scrub, the protective layer no more, then u need to constantly oil it to prevent rust.troublesome right?most likely ur chrome also will suffer some minute scratches too.so better not to scrub.mabbe u can try a little bit of autosol or wd40 first to see if it goes away.

this is what i can think of right now.

Hi, it is not advisable to mount the PDA GPS on phantom as 1) there is no bracket specially made for Phantom 2) no Windscreen to protect. The entire thing might just flew off if traveling on highway.

My honest advise is to use tank bag. I use to think I can custom made a bracket specially to launch my PDA GPS infront of the handlebar....but after many fail attempts. I finally gave up. Instead, I now uses tank bag.

Since I have upgraded to a bigger bikes, I now uses tank bra to secure my tank bag.

There is no simple solution to launch PDA GPS at the front panel because the system simply is not made for the purpose. If you really must have it, then I recommend you to look at the complete system by Garmin - "Streetpilot". They have a bracket specially made for the system......

As for shinning the Exhaust. Use Autosol to shine. Complete the polish with Turtle wax. The shine will last a bit longer......

Caution: Using too much Autosol on the exhaust will cause the exhaust to rust faster as you are polishing off the antirust protective layer. Just keep the bike clean. That will do the job.....

Although not a newbie but better to post here before kenna shoot.

Like to find out from those who frequent JB, is buying back TV serials DVD an offence?

I AM BACK!!!!!

Posted

It is not an offence if it is original....but I believe you're not getting the original one right?

Like all law goes, it will not be an offence as long as you don't get caught.....

it shouldn't be so much more than doing 1 fork.. tat's becos it's almost the same amount of work to remove 1 fork anyway..

so if u can, just change for both forks to be sure..

Hmm.. Juz wanna ask.. Anyone here riding a '05 phantom, the one wif the low fuel indicator? Coz I heard from the forum and my frds tat phantom actually can go up to 400km+ b4 hitting reserve tank(for older versions).. However, mine can onli go up to 320km to 350km and the reserve indicator starts lighting up.. Hence, I wld like to find out how much petrol do older versions pump when they hit reserve tank.. If the amount is same as mine, then something is wrong wif my bike fuel consumption..

But each time I pumped bout 8.3L, maximum 8.5L when the reserve indicator lights up.. By calculation, each L can run bout 38 - 41km.. By rite, nothin is wrong but i juz feel strange bout the 400km compared to my 320km..

Hope u guys can answer my Qn.. Thanks..

it will not pass.. air-horns definitely dun have the chance. At least electric horn they still can close one eye.

therefore, reconnect ur stock horn (if it's still there). Although the air horn remains to be fixed on the bike, as long as the stock horn sounds when the horn button is pressed, everything will be ok.

38km/l - 41km/l is very good liaozz.

given tat every rider is different (size, weight etc) and riding style (full throttle everywhere? etc)..
