Its the sticker shop. If you're buying stuff from there, be perpared for aunty's special "attitude" when serving customers

Hi people,

I'm not one to bad mouth people but I take this as experience sharing. You can learn a thing or 2 when buying at Aunty's shop (Champion Shop) to avoid being swindled.

1. When you ask how much, she will ask you if you're getting it in the first place. Only when you agree to get the part/ item will she tell you the price. (She told me she'll get the risers i wanted to buy fixed first, before telling me the price. I didn't buy of course.)

2. She may 'twist' her words when dealing. (This really happened: I bought shadow styled fenders but was told they were finished in black. They were black alright, and unfinished, the surface was as rough as a blackboard. And finally, agreed price was 180, but after fixing and 'twisting' it came to 200. In the end i bought the fenders and 'can' sprayed them black cos needed to replace my broken fenders after a major buang.)

I wonder if such incidents are reportable to consumer watch dogs such as CASE. For my case, I'm taking a passive approach by just boycotting the place. But please don't take my word for it, I hope you all will form your own impressions for yourself and maybe share it over here.

Happy Riding And 'Shopping'!

Cheers!

very simple,

1.just take out $150 and give her lor, if she refuse to take or threadten to call the man in blue, let her call, make a scence.

2.either reject and ask her to take back the parts or she LL has to accept the $180 which she offer in first place.

I can't confirm for sure coz I've never changed EO myself. But logically, I'm guessing it should be 17 coz its a common metric size. 18 is an odd size & rarely used...

K, while de-rustin, u might nid a small brush to help brush away stubborn spots, but that might leave scratch marks bearing in mind.

After de-rustin, wipe clean the solvent used, spray on the 3M, & wipe off with a clean normal cloth(I used those like for wash face type).

thanks for the info ....

Hi there

I just read in carforum - magnet stirs something up in the fuel. Not sure about this.

Er, as far as I noe, works ok for me.

Used a Givi tankbag earli last yr, but sold off after less than 5 times usage?

U wont b able to c yr meter as it'll block over it.

If too big, might affect turnin radius.

Anyone got pics of a tank bag? (Dunno what a tank bag is!) Don't think cruisers look good with something on their tanks (That goes the same with back boxes too).

no, its not true!

Most bikeshops will not take in TA150s anymore, as what ive experienced when i was intending to let mine go last time. Queried a hell lot of shops, all of which just rejected my bike. I thought i mentioned this earlier to you?

See, though bikeshops dont take them in anymore, private buyers might still be interested. I managed to sell mine to a nice guy. Perhaps your advertisements need pictures and the cost should be very flexible as the COE's running low.

It took me some time for me to sell the bike as it wasnt an urgent one. Youre urgently selling, right? if you are, be VERY flexible with the pricing, or else, difficult.

2 cents.

I have the best signature.

Need some advice from PKs...

Recently I had some probs starting my bike(TA200)... When I start my bike, it will idle for a while and died off... I've increased the idling but it still died off.... Tried maintaining throttle but it still died off... I will try starting it again but it can't be started... It will end up as though the battery is weak as it wont start even though I press the electric start.. So end up have to push start my bike.... But I doubt the battery is weak as I just changed it in Aug...

Could it be my spark plug? But if I can start my bike earlier on it shouldn't be a prob right?

Any idea what could be the cause of it?

Thanks In Advance...
