simple lor, you are new rider,

when you throttle and seems like no power to move and bike engine seems like going to stall.

 

never try this LUCK, always pump full or just top-up ervery day or 200km or 300 km.

 

you are new rider, and you start to panic as you are on the expressway while your bike reach reserved, will CAUSE trouble.

Yup.. I agree wif this.. Anyway, if u hit 300km liao ur main tank oso going to be empty soon.. Might as well go pump petrol.. It will not be long when u realised ur main tank is empty..

 

Then i got another frd who pumped his tank every fri..

 

Another thing is u must c where u going.. Let's say u hit bout 280km liao then u nd to go somewhere far.. Let's juz say from changi to jurong.. Better go pump petrol b4 u depart on ur trip.. Coz if u r not veri gd at switching fuel knobs while on the expressway, not advisable.. Although i riding custom 4 i still practise this method.. Dun wan the low fuel indicator to light up during my trip.. Troublesome if still hav a long way to reach my destination..

Hi guys, btw, do u guys know tat when I finish paying all the instalments, the bike is offically mine rite? Meaning I can sell it if i wan to? Then at the last instalment, wat am I suppose to get from the bike shop?

 

I'm supposed to get back my log card and another one of my keys rite? Coz so far I'm given onli 1 key.. The other key suppose to be at the shop in case tat I didn't pay up they will come tow my bike away.. Izzit true?

after ur installment is cleared, u should get back ur log card and the other key... :smile:

i just cleared my installment as well ...

the motordiam did gave me the log card ..

and the other key arh ..

Hmm.. I tink mine still using log card coz the bike shop got give me a photocopy of the log card.. Thanks for ur info.. :cheer:

i'd like to ask, should i change my e.o even if it's still quite clean and still alot but i've already clocked in 2500km?

 

and how often shoudl i go for a full service?

some ppl say it'll turn black and is less viscous? but then again does the e.o become that way after a certain time? anyone knows? i'm still a newb and still learning.

Hmm.. When to change EO depends on individual.. From wat i know, phantom got no oil filter, so it's better to change ur EO earlier coz of fine metal particles due to the friction of the gears (am I right?) For me, i kiasu abit, i change my EO every 2000km.. Some change at 2500km..

 

Full servicing is normally done every 10000km..

Hi knights! Juz wondering, is there any product in e market such as suspension protectors for Phantoms? Juz like those for Super 4's front suspensions..

guyss .. my bike pick up suddenly veri slow .. gear 1 max can go until 20 .. gear 2 max 35 den engine start to cry .. like every gear ard 10km/h slower .. last time gear 1 can go till 30 haven cry .. this thing start happening after i jam brake .. any1 know the reason ?

could it be your brake pad jamed to the disc !!!!

The brake piston might be jam.

Wait no more and visit you preferred motorshop and service your caliper.

if i can move off from gear 2/3 without engine dying, what could be the issue? clutch plates gone?

would like to ask.

erm.. izzit covered under warrenty if the iu unit is crack at the base where it is connected to the iu unit's baseplate?

 

i din realise it till yest when was moving the iu unit then see.. crack on the left.. then ARGH~ right aso got crack.

You mean from a stop, you move off in 2nd or 3rd gear?

I think it's normal to be able to.

i think it varies from shop to shop..

i suggest you enquire your bikeshop about it.

If you DO have and still are in a warranty period, i guess it *should* be covered.

ic. mine not under bikeshop.

 

i called the IU hotline at the vicom. the girl say must see then can tell whether its covered anot and she say checking is free.

 

if not free.. think i use super glue liao.
