Got a chance to try out my friend's new CBR250R.... looks good, huge plastic fairings, 12 litre tank, nissin brakes, one main light and 2 pole lights.... It is super blindingly bright... the brake light and signal lamps are also equally blinding.... The seat is a bit hard.... and the vibration strong. According to him the acceleration is non existent as it is single cylinder EFI. Comes with autochoke as do most FI bikes have nowadays. The bike can easily cruise at 120km/h.... Tank is 13 litres.... fuel consumption untested... should be about 30-40km/l..

 

Good potential sports touring bike... too bad no mainstand. And the rear tail lamp looks like a CBF150... =.=

the reflector assembly on my bike is aftermarket anyway, so can anyhow cut.

but got to look for another headlight assembly to fix onto the bike in the meantime while project is ongoing.

went to read up posts by other pple who DIY projector light + HID and saw the method they used to maintain lightbeam level (to prevent glare to other road users).

chim ah!

 

but wait, let me know the cost of the projector lens 1st (PM if not convenient to put price here).

i try to work out my budget for this project. hehe.

may attempt a one-eyed monster 1st since i usually only use 1 side of my headlight only.

When i travel at 100km/h (according to meter) and negotiate a very gentle bend (like the sheares bridge), my whole bike wobbles and becomes very unstable at that speed. Never used to be an issue. Then realized it wobbles when i try to do cornering as well.

 

Any idea what's wrong? I'm suspecting suspension, but don't know front or rear.

1. Wheel bearing cui already

2. Steering cone and bearings cui already

3. Tires uneven and bumpy... cui already

4. Gantung leaking cui already...

 

Check those in that order. For me it was 2. After changed already it is smooth.

Hi cbr150 owners. I have a problem wif my bike. Sometimes when I ride, my engine will stall halfway and I have to electric start it. Sometimes, while riding my bike, when I stop at traffic lights, my engine will stall. -_-( quite dangerous when there are alot of cars on the road. And sometimes, it's very hard to start my bike. Do u guys know the problem with my bike? I've went to 2 bike shops and it didn't solve the problem. I'm so clueless as to what shall I do..

1. Check sparkplug

2. Check idling

3. Check air filter

4. Check carb and hoses

5. Check CDI

6. Check rectifier and coil

 

For me no 5. did the trick
