replace air filter, spark plug, engine oil.

check for wear & tear on brake pads.

get made in japan tyres for peace of mind.

Dunlop TT900GP or Batalax 039SS

the last i know, pricing was around $180 for a pair of front & rear tyres.

:goodluck:

I looking forward to your projector lamps modification!

I want to see how you gonna drill holes on the headlights area.

thanks bro..

Thought of changing in Ah Boy Johor...Please Advice?????

1) Battlax bt 39 or Dunlop tt900..size front 100/80 and rear 120/80...

2) Sparkplug NGK PLATIUM..

3) ENGINE OIL Castrol power 1-semi synthetic.

4) Brake Pad

...Any advise if i am using air horn ,is it ok for inspection??????

in JB, kind of hard to get made in japan tyres. of the list, yr best bet is TT900 made in thailand. depending on the shop u go to, they may or may not have up till size 120. pricing wise, i vaguely remember the TT900 thai-made going for about RM$90 per piece depending on tyre size. :goodluck:

u need to differentiate between airhorn and electromagnetic horn. abit hard to find a gd place to mount airhorn on cbr150. that's why i suspect what u have are actually electromagnetic ones. do a google on these 2 types of horns and find out for yrself.

    airhorn = fail inspection

electromagnetic horn = high chance of passing inspection

I want to see how you gonna drill holes on the headlights area.

drill hole is not an issue

at most i end up with an oval w/ jagged edges instead of a perfect circle.

my main worry is removing the plastic covering on the front of headlamp assembly (not to crack it along the edges) and how to mount the lamp securely onto the reflector.

shall take some pics after i get started on the project.

:cheer:

havent pop by LAB to buy new headlight assembly yet though :p

your meter must come out.... windscreen must come out. The side head panels require abit of shaking before they come out. If you really want the easiest time.... your fork also come out.

I have service and change tyres in jb...Please comment whether is cheap or same in singapore..

Dunlop TT900 rear size 110/80- 155rm

front size 90/80-125rm

Brakepad -25rm

Shell Sx Semi synthetic - 28rm

Cheap.... but the tires made in thailand/malaysia.... may not be as tahan as japan made ones in sg. RM280 for front and back. = S$120-$130. Might as well pay S$170 for Bridgestone battalax made in japan tires.

Brake pad RM25, LAB pariah honda ones S$8

Semi syn RM28... s$15 (any variety)

Time and effort spent to go to ah gua lane at night with th possibility of getting shot stabbed robbed and raped? Priceless.

NOw you know why i prefer to service in SG. How much can you save?
