I dont think it will fit. My brother raider 125 could not fit the raider 150 cowl. So I guess the same apply to our bike. :cheeky:

If it can fit, I will be very interested on that. LOL.

raider 150, the first bike i test rode. almost bought it, cos kancheong.

i'm glad my cousin Axxis helped me make the right choice.

I keep seeing my rpm n speedo today to check, I found out that I also can reach 100kph at 7.5k, for the 110kph the rpm is around 8.1k, does not exactly 8k as it goes up by abiitttt. hehehe.... when its at 8k rpm, the speedo almost reach 110kph but do not reach. LOL..

Btw, anyone of you know about this matter. Will our bike consume more fuel at 5 gear or 6 gear (running the same speed)?

FC would depend on your RPM throughout the trip. high RPMs=more more FC, low RPMs=less FC. the same speed would have a lower RPM at a higher gear, so there.

Depending on whats the speed la bro.

I was reading on the papers the other time that they were saying that travelling at 60 with top gear does not necessarily mean that you are saving petrol. Cause when you are going minor up slope, you are actually throttling more but the vehicle is not pushing itself cause there is no torque.

slope? we live Singapore, not Europe.

our landscape as flat as . =P

I see. so changing gear quiker at appropriate speed would be better for the FC, rite?

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

d0n^, want to ask you how you got your rim to be chromed only on the outer rim like in your avatar pic. It is not sticker is it?

oh! i know this one!

his stock black paint was removed with thinner (maybe, special paint remover?). thus showing it's original silver color.

yours should be alright.. what i said is my best performance.. sometime it even perform worse.. machiam no power.. i can achieve constant speed easier at higher speed about 115 km/h to 120.. rpm at least at 8.5k to 9k 6th gear.. meaning from 100km/h to my prefered speed, in between that guage is harder to accelerate and maintain.. just like heavy throttling..

basically, i never let my RPM go above 4K. maybe that explains why i clock FC 50Km/L.

oh, the rest of the guys meeting up at Rail Mall now, see ya later!

4K? :giddy: :giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

how do you even accelerate off and gain speed? won't you be frustrated when you hear the engine knocks when its at the wrong gear at the wrong time. lols.

for normal class3 car, i know that when moving off or on the move. it doesn't always mean low rpm = better FC. in fact high rpm can achieve a better FC.

counting of FC also depends on how you pump ur petrol in. for example some people pump till when it's just below the straight piece of metal you can see at the top your tank. (the highest FC u can get)

some people when it touches the metal. (not affected so much, still quite high)

some people sit on the bike and keep on going up and down and fill whatever they can. when you do this, you find that you can actually squeeze 1 - 2 litres more of petrol into your tank. sometimes even more than 10litres. zy did before i think. :dot: :dot: :dot:

(u will find that your FC drop drastically but you can run more clicks)

and again in car terms, you need to whack your car weekly or so depending on your needs, such that the next time when you need that power. it will be there, and there won't be a power loss. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

i always accelerate to 7k rpm zhun zhun, but just a word of awareness. don't always look at what's at your speedometer/tachometer. u never know when the vehicle in front of you e-brake and u'll just slam into the rear.

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Derrick is asking if anyone is interested in buying walkie talkie with earpiece, charger. 4KM distance. Price is $25. It comes in pairs.

Interested yes... willing to go out there and try my luck .. not yet

But don't mind seeing others try their luck. Anyone (besides me) ever go and see real motorbike races and see them go off into the gravel trap or skid across the track? Some experience I can tell you... No joke for CBR150 on track... they race 125 CC in GP Moto so why not see what our bikes can do...

not sticker.

the way to go abt doing this is same as the other bikes e.g. SP, KRR, S4.

a chemical called paint stripper is used to remove the paint on the rims to expose the metal color underneath.

got it done for RM$30 per rim.

the mech was suggesting getting the unstripped portions repainted and charge a much higher price for the entire package.

but being the stingy me, i only got him to do the paint stripping.

:p
