Will go only for the 2 day trackday... dunno when's that!

On 2nd thots..you ride up 3 hour+, play only 2 and a half hour, go back another 3 hour+...like dat..hor..

Is not worth in my opinion too to rush up, then only to be able to practice 2.5 hour. Unlike usual 2 day session, which you get to go back back S'pore after morning practice. This time round, you'll rush to reach there (Tired). Practice, then rush back in the afternoon (Tired again). Very dangerous to ride during fatigue. But is a very very good oportunity for those taking part in MSS Rd3...BTW, wish those taking part a safe journey to and fro and lastly....Good luck...

Hi guys..

For those of u expecting/waiting for a 2 days (Sat&Sun) track day at Sepang, it looks like almost impossible for now as Sepang International Circuit (SIC) booking/event calender is extremely tight..

As u all can see that the last weekend track day was in Feb (i tink).. It has been like 5mths ago.. So, if u guys are looking forward to ride in Sepang circuit and have plans to race there next season, grab wateva chance to ride while u can..

There is quite a few guys, edwin, jimmy and the gang dat eventho its a 1day session they do ride up and enjoy the 1 day session..

Its actually a good practise of both physical and mental.. Endurance is there too.. Futhermore, the more mileage u have on the bike the better u understand the bike.. Be it on the track or on the highway..

Cheers..:thumb:

You should qualify that statement. Edwin and friends make it a habit to ride up one day before, to get a good nights' rest before they hit the Sunday AM session.

Before some of you misconstrue the above statement - It is NOT a good practice to ride up, do the trackday and then ride back home IN THE SAME DAY. Endurance is one thing, but will you be able to maintain 100% mental concentration for the long round trip? Lack of concentration due to inadequate rest can get you killed on the NS Highway.

Unless you drive up in a van, that is. :)

Received calls from some rider asking for direction to Sepang International Circuit..

Since there is gonna be quite a few 1st timer to Sepang, might as well i list down the direction to the circuit plus a few basic and very important safety measures on the track..

Direction..

-Full tank at Johor then hit the north south highway..

-Stop for refill at PAGOH RnR (arnd 140+ km of the highway)

-Upon reaching Seremban area, keep a look-out for Ipoh/KLIA connecting highway (arnd 280+ km of the highway)

-Once on the Ipoh bound highway, keep lookout for KLIA signboard (arnd 20km from start of the Ipoh Highway)

-Once reach KLIA toll then lookout for Sepang Circuit sign(arnd 10km)

-Once exit the highway u will meet a round-a-board

-Go straight (12o'clock) then the Circuit will be arnd 5km on your left

-Look for the pit entrance signboard for track day goers

Safety on Track..

- Pit Lane Speed Limit 50km/h

- DO NOT CROSS the whiteline when entering the track.. Keep right all the way towards turn 1 and turn 2 then start ur riding toward turn 3..

- DO NOT Stop on the track eventho u wanna help a crash victim.. The marshalls will do the Job..

- Keep all the way right and raised ur hand high up on the back straight if u intend to return to the pit.. Show ur intention early and DO NOT decide last minute..

- No stunt riding at any part of the track or pit lane..

Yellow Flag - No overtaking, Be careful there is crash ahead

Red Flag - STOP Racing immediately and proceed back to the PIT..

I hope all the above will help.. Remember guys, its a track day.. Never ride above ur limits and enjoy ur ride.. Being friendly is the most important thing when u participate in track day..

Cheers..:thumb:
