eric... u getting another cbr... me getting also...

 

i sold mine in may, got for myself a phantom,but im itchy already....i thought i can survive with 200cc,but i am wrong so im looking at a 2007 model....or maybe a r6.......see how lar,i will keep a look out for nice bikes.....but definately if i am to ride again,i am looking at 600cc sportsbikes

i just slapped on a pair of Corsa III on my bike. $440 at hkl.

 

actually i still wanted the pp2ct, but they didn have stock, apparently still the aftermath of the huge pp2ct recall last year. i was considering the m3, but finally decided on the corsa on recommendation from bro shark. and the bt-003rs haven arrived on our shores yet.

 

i'll see how these tyres compare to the michelins.

Bro, wondering if u already got those screws already. I am looking to replace all my screws too, riding '05 cbr6 btw. All rusty and those plastic plugs also broken, can buy 1 or 2 pieces each anot? Bcoz hardware shops sometimes must get 10 or more...

 

Anyway guyz, are there any DIY mods that we can do on a cbr6? last time cbr1k can do flapper mod n all juz wonderin cbr6 also can do some kind of cheap DIY mods.

i had done my calculations,my car installments,my other installments alone every month add up to 1.2k. I will have to endure until i clear my rest of my installments other than car installments then every month i have got close to 1k per month to throw on another big bike project.

i fitted 1 at the oem place but need to bend the bracket for fork clearance & another beside the oil filter just behind the headers. but mine is 08 model. not sure same anot.

 

i just checked with a bikeshop its different..theres no room at all to place both the horns together or at other place..

theres a screw shop near LAB..u can purchase any type of screws provided u bring them a sample and u can buy 1 or 2//as for the plastic plugs im not sure they have or not..

where exactly do u mount the horns?? cos my 05 cant fit the hella horn underneath the fork..when doing turning it will hit the inside of the side fairing..now making do with OEM car horn from a Lancer..

and i agree with the steel braided brake hoses..they are handy and with 400 u can change engine oil,oil filter,iridium sparkplug,flush and top up coolant and change steel braided brake hoses with Motul 5.1 for 400 or less..i intend to do them next week..perhaps we can go together since i live in tamp also..

Both mods also can as long as can save money haha. I'm gonna start with fender eliminator DIY first... for performance wat can be done?

i got mine at regina. $30 for a set of 10. set is complete with 10 pcs of rubberised nut and plastic washer.

 

then a few weeks later i went motoworld i found an identical set oxford brand for half the price i highly recommend you get the oxford set at motoworld. and they both come strictly in sets of 10.

still running in and riding quite rarely, so i still cant comment the grip.

 

but wat i can definitely say is that it also has quick turn-in, probably quicker than dunlop and bridgestone equivalents. but its nowhere near as lightning-quick as the pilot power. heck i doubt any road tyre turns in as quickly as the pilot powers, fresh ones actually make your bike feel unstable. in a good way. the second you initiate a turn, the bike drops to the side like its gonna fall over.

2010 ah,they revised their model every 2 yrs...so if want i also wait for 2011 cos i dun think 2009 and 2010 model shine on the spec(heard got some ponies disappear on the dyno)....i think if good still 2007 n 2008 model better....i dont mind buying a new 2007/08 model if still got shop selling.
