MUAR, MALAYSIA: A 43-year-old car salesman was killed when a high-powered rocket firecracker exploded in his face at a football field on Tuesday.

Toh Ban Hock was found lying on the field in Bukit Gambir, about 30km from here, with his shirt, face, back and chest burnt.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Nasir Ramli said police believe he was killed by a firecracker known as "Sunshine".

He said it was not known whether Toh had been alone at the time of the incident.

"When police found him, a few people had already gathered at the field."

Nasir said investigations revealed that Toh had lit the firecracker but it did not initially go off. When he took a closer look, it exploded in his face.

Nasir said it was a lesson to others to refrain from playing with dangerous firecrackers.

He said police had mounted an anti-fireworks operation in view of the festive season and would not hesitate to nab anyone found in possession of the contraband.

Toh's wife, when contacted, refused to comment on the incident.

yo guys. btw tomoro if u guys are still watching CJ7.. maybe u all can confirm exclude me out le.. cos i juz watched today =X

 

it's more to a kids show, and if u like humourous shows.. den ok lor.. but alot of cute cute things inside lar. not much of story line though.. maybe u all can consider changing to the ah long pte ltd show.. not bad.. and kungfu dunk oso quite interesting..

:) yo duncan u are so lucky to have such a good chef at home :thumb: Some of tonite's dishes very hard to find, not even in hawker centre. Very delicious!

 

:btw: hachi i told u liao rite? my honda wave really abt 3 to 5 times brighter, machiam like stadium lights. Car will notice & slow down even from far. So the bright lights are kinda like more for safety purposes :cool:
