Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

For heavy duty lifting work... the pulsar is pretty damn good for a class 2b. but overkill for light, ***** work.

any other air cooled cub would do the job as well as a honda wave..

other factors y a Wave is best for despatch purpose

1. clutchless shifting, brings u convenience of one handed operation when necessary

2. abundance of tire choices in stock at almost every bike shop

3. at most a litre of engine oil, without oil filter, thus u can DIY

4. electric and kick start

5. additional storage space if u fix rear box, side boxes, central basket and front basket

6. lots of aftermarket parts n accessories

7. stock conditon can bring u FC of more than 50km per litre

8. adequate power for acceleration from 0-60 km/h

I heard that the Bajaj Pulsar is a very fuel efficient bike. It is claimed to cover 50km/l. So if for despatch work, can consider this bike... :thumb:

Between the pulsar and wave, I would suggest the wave. Did despatch for a while before. With this kind of job, your pay often is tied to the amount of places you manage to reach and finish the job. You'll also be riding a lot in peak hour traffic, major roads etc, and that means a lot of lane splitting. The wave is by far the best bike to lane split in terms of size. It will give you the option to squeeze to the front at traffic junctions when the pulsar cannot. But do ride safe. Hope it helps.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

wave would be the best option. although the tank might be a bit of a prob if you need to go loads of places and time is the important factor. but hey a little oil pump sure won't waste much time.

its very fuel efficient too. my ex wave takes me up to 43km/l

yup... SYM Magic is a 110cc cub.... functions just like any other cub... but power and acceleration wise, since you're doing dispatch, no much concern about it.

Yamaha YBR also good for dispatch?

true pulsar has the best FC, but it is a relatively new bike and just for the machine, you'll need 5k at least. there are not too many 2nd hand pulsars available also.

Pulsar fuel efficiency very good. Its my 2nd bike. Full 16 litres can go 600+km. Great for despatch work. Can't go wrong with it.

Haha i also think pulsar is a very good transport bike. But the price compared to wave is there. If you wan cost then wave, if really wan fuel efficiency then pulsar. But both the fuel efficiency is good of cuz.
