???What happen???

Not really...Rossi is leaving the case to his lawyers to handle. The other person is Loris, and soon, will be Melandri.

Italy Tax department claims that these few had been avoiding tax for the wages they get, but many of the races are overseas, and therefore not subjected to Italy tax. Both sides have their bullets to fight the case, but likely Italy will lose.

In any case, there's tons of tax evasation in Italy, and the tax department decided to anchor on a few high prominent Italians to warn the citizens they better pay up honestly. The main idea is not to really get back money from these sportsmen, but serve as a warning to the people that the taz department is watching.

Rossi and Loris's wages are debatable, and Loris resides in Monaco, out of Italy anyways. Melandri is waiting for his turn, which is highly anticipated.

Back to topic, I hope Michelins will get their act together, as Brno had been Michelin's homeground. Also Rossi's M1 is getting some juices, and likewise the whole Honda squat, even Shinya Nakano got new parts and will be trying out on Fri. Only problem for Shinya and Checa is that, they still need to piece the whole puzzle for the competitive package as they are recieving the new parts for the 1st time, unlike Repsol and Gresini squat which had parts available to them earlier on previous few races.

If Michelins worked well, and Stoner wins, what will the whole world says? Ya, they will blame Yamaha.

Let's see.

Loris will be Suzuki man next yr :thumb: What you guys think of Ducati? Kinnda sucks that they offered him Pramac D'Antin next yr instead if he choose to stay with them, after all that 5yrs he stick with them, grinding thru the 1st few yrs of bad times and never leave Ducati

Sadly, Yammies will NOT BE racing the new engine as they deem it too risky. It will be a post race testing, sorry all Yammie fans. No extra RPMs just yet.

Come on, quit singing that song for Day 2, can?

Dunlop does it on FP2......incredible time

Dunlops did it on a qualifier.....it's more for attention grapping cuz Guotoli had to fight for staying his seat @ Yammie, plus Dunlop not limited by the tyre rule, so they could burn as many qualifiers as they want.

Even for the last 10 mins, Tamada was on qualifier but too bad, was held up on his fast lap thus not able to make a showing.

Come actual qualifying, Guotoli would be further down the rank though.

Sad that Dunlops might not get to stay next yr.

Why dunlop might not stay next year?

Dunlops are with Yammie Tech3 this yr, last yr was Pramac D'Antin. Next year Yammie Tech 3 will be having a WSBK champion James Toseland to ride the bike, and Dunlops will be out of Yammie. So far the rest of the teams are working preety well with Michs or Bridge, so unlikely anyone will be opting for Dunlops unless Dunlops brings a ton of $$$ for the team.

But I sure hope Dunlops stays though.....but problem is, who will want to race Dunlops unless team funds is an issue?

Can't wait for the race....you guys are lucky to watch it earlier than me....telecast here is sloooooooooooow.

1 Bridgestone and 2 Michs on Row 1, but the consistent runners are Stone and Hop on race tyres. But that's without the crash and fairings rubbing of course, lol. Hope it's a tight race, not those 1/2 time run away ones.

Next yr a revise on tyre rules, adding 1 more Front and 2 more Rear. That's 15Front, 19 Rear.

World championship leader Casey Stoner will start Sunday's Czech MotoGP from pole position after qualifying fastest in Brno on Saturday.

Defending world champion Nicky Hayden was second, ahead of Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa in third, with Valentino Rossi in sixth.

Stoner's fastest lap time was one minute 56.884 seconds, recorded on the 13th of his 14 qualifying laps.

None of the other top 10 riders rode less than 20 laps for their best time.

Stoner, 21, has already claimed six wins in 11 races this season - in Qatar, Turkey, China, Catalunya, Great Britain and the United States.

But his new Ducati team-mate next season, Marco Melandri, missed the session with a trapped nerve in his neck and has also been ruled out of Sunday's race.

Qualifying times for Czech MotoGP:

1 C Stoner (Aus) Ducati 1:56.884

2 N Hayden (US) Honda 1:57.164

3 D Pedrosa (Spn) Honda 1:57.179

4 J Hopkins (US) Suzuki 1:57.567

5 R de Puniet (Fr) Kawasaki 1:57.599

6 V Rossi (Ita) Yamaha 1:57.640

7 L Capirossi (Ita) Ducati 1:57.665

8 C Vermeulen (Aus) Suzuki 1:57.699

9 C Edwards (US) Yamaha 1:57.702

10 S Guintoli (Fr) Yamaha 1:57.732
