Never try with open face but I don't think can. At least I am sure it cannot fit my full face helmet.

Hi racer Kinwei, is the MT-09 shocks so bad that you'll need to install aftermarket option for a more aggressive ride? Heard rear is ok to replace but the front will cost quite a bomb

Hi racer kawarides, my complaint is mainly on how the rear shock is too soft to handle 2 up and not about doing aggressive riding. Perhaps it the absent of compression damping that caused the rear to bottom up easily with pillion. Somehow I felt the front is better than the rear. If you want a more economical option for the front, then you may consider damping kit instead of changing the whole fork.

I bought my earlier bike in cash. This round might need to loan. Any agent or better deal to recommend? I heard HL's interest is much higher....

Yes. Givi do have rear rack / bracket for tracer. Spore agent is Mah motor. But last heard they are out of stock so you may want to call or email or drop a PM in their facebook before making your way down. U can google for their contacts. Or you can go carousell spore to search. I tink I saw 1 guy selling it.

Is it true the clearance for tracer is not high enough that the headers tend to hit the high humps in jb customs?

it is actually the guard fin that will hit against the hump.

 

yes the clearance is indeed low; if you don't go over the hump at a fast speed. you will be fine.

Anyone gone touring with pillion on the Tracer yet?

 

Anyone use any after market windshield?

 

I will like to know the pillion comfort and wind protection for long distance touring.

 

I'm 1.74m / 65kg while my wife is 1.60m / ard 50kg.

 

Anybody can enlighten me?

PUIG Windshield is good for your height ; it offers very good wind protection.

 

160 ~ 180 KM is the speed for touring ; higher than that the handlebar might wobble ; can be resolved by gpr v4 steering damper or fitting with aftermarket shocks.

 

while you are on it ; give the tracer a flashtune ecu reflash ; it is the best mod

Pillon is comfortable, occasional stretching of legs required as per any other bike. Wind protection is good up to 120-130kph. More it gets noisy.

 

I am using all stock. With 2 side panniers and a top box.

if your oil drain bolt is located at the bottom of the sump, it is 2015.

Hi. I just got the 1st badge launched by Yamaha Malaysia. Still running in the engine.

I m looking for the Yamaha hard sidebox but Yamaha Msia informed that they r not bring in. They asked me try to find in Singapore. So, anyone know where and how much for these? I would ride down to Singapore and install it if any. Thanks.

I have been having this problem of imbalance riding. The bike have been slight tilting to the left side. I have been adjusting the front forks but still the problem is there. PLEASE HELP! THANKS!
