Testing procedure

1) Headlight - Stock - Fail

2) Front Brake - Pass

3) Rear Brake - Pass

5) Allignment - Pass

6) Horn - Stebel - "Pon Pon" Twice!!...Pass

7) Visual Check - Mudguard - Pass

8) Visual Check - Numberplate - Pass(with comments! Read below)

9) Numberplate Light - Pass

10) Exhaust - Stock - Pass

11) Seat - Pass

12) Other Misc (please specify)

As usual, headlight fail again, but overall pass, but surprisingly he asked me if I'd done my rear no. plate(got it frm a MO in here by xanc) frm M'sia, but got the surprise look frm him when I told him it's done here in S'pore!

Most of the time, do vtx modded headlight pass thru da inspection.. N also airhorn, hazard light... Will all these be able to pass the inspection?

VTX shouldnt be a prob.

might fail this section but overall pass.

 

Air horn - Its is not legal to have 1 installed.

 

hazard light - no problem.

I JUST got summoned by a ROV for my rear number plate. (made of acrylic)

reason: since its made up of acrylic, it have certain percentage of relective %.

Number plate are not suspose to be reflective.

well, a $70 summon for that.

I got mine done frm a former PK(xanc is è nick if Im nt wrong) here, He's oso doin a MO in MO thread.

So far TP & ROV rode pass & behind me, all ok leh...

the mechanic at my bike shop said the headlights for phantom is always a bit too high, something like a manufacturing defect. The bracket holding the headlight is too high. That's why owes fail headlight test. I failed mine too :cheeky:

yea, I had that plate for almost a year.

TP stop didnt mentioned much about that the previous few time i got blocked, just my luck to stumple upon the ROVs who are quite particular about it.

yeah... I think you were unlucky to meet one that was so picky about the plate... I suppose your font size & spacing everything was up to mark? ROV say its the acrylic material that made it illegal?

i curious regarding the plate no with customise name on it. care to show some pic.

 

just got my phantom week ago so kinda newbie...

Example: Number plate customised with name (numbers have been blacked out)

I got it from MyWheels Trading @ 207 Lavender Street, about $20+ for rear only.

 

Pass inspection or not I dunno. My bike not due for inspection yet.

If pass, good. If dun pass, I'll just change back my old one & go for re-inspection.

7) Visual Check - Mudguard - Pass

if those twin horn approved during inspection? cos just got it fix at ah koon, not sure will it pass the inspection??

 

and how about the licence plate no with name below?

juz pass my inspection with steble horn. from wat i know ah koon there is steble horn. so shnld be a prob. as for number plate with name, juz need to cover with black tape when u go for inspection.

depends on the inspector... at JIC AMK, once he just made a comment.... other guy ask me to replace back to original... both still passed me...

you mean you padd with your steble horn but if brought from ah koon sure fail one?

 

dun get what u mean ... but heard from ah koon he say can pass inspection..

if scare too loud then disable one of the horn to make it single rather then twin..

i mean the steble horn u brought from koon can pass inspection.

as for the acrylic licence plate u juz bring along the old one incase fail then u can change back.

for your custom fender, according to madman its only comestics, so will pass.

 

for your super4 head light as long as the bulb is legal then its ok. even if u fail, most prob the inspector will close one eye and pass u.

tats a relieve...soooo...so far madman have been passing his check every yr?

still gotta swap my pipes out...sigh...messy process
