just to contribute to the many price list that we have for phantom repairs, accessories and mods. these prices are either what i have paid or i have asked at the shops before.

 

Please feel free to add on any other items , repairs, accessories and mods if you have the pricing too.

 

Phantom Specific

 

Repairs / Maintenance :

1) Steering cone $55-65

2) Chain Tensioner $55-60

3) Front brake disc $45

4) tyres (metz) $150 front & back

5) Chain $70-120 depending on type

6) signal lights - depending on which type you like. $8-25.

7) headlight - anywhere from $35 to 90 depending the type you like.

8) Spark plug - $5-20

9) Engine oil - $6 -18 (jB got his lousiest EO for $3)

10) Brake Pad $20-25

11) Chain + Sprocket - $140+/-

 

Mods and Accessories:

 

1) Wide handlebar (custom4 phantom type) - $38

2) Wide Crashbar with mounting points for spotlights - $80

3) Footrest - $65-85

4) side box e21 - $100-130

There's a popular saying in Chinese, 货比三家, which means check the prices with 3 shops first before you buy. It's a good advice to follow if you don't want to get chopped again.

Btw, anyone knows where to get a complete respray including the frame? All the places I went only do tank n fenders

 

I respraying mine in JB.

 

Totally strip the bike, engine also off.

 

Frame is now totally shiny black like the Ailens VS Predator's Ailens.

any one knows if the default ta200 mirror fitting is 8mm or 10mm thread ?

Don't know, just buy and install. I think it is universal one.

Last time I was using the Kup Chia one, fits perfectly.

Suzuki mirror also can go into Phantom one.

 

Only Yamaha mirror screw thread is opposite direction.

But that time my rxk was 8mm. The uncle got tell me cannot use super 4 mirror. Today I go ah boy he say use super 4 mirror can. But I still thinking to look for other mirror first. If really cant find something I want, then I will get super 4 one. But since he mentioned super 4 mirror can put on phantom, i think maybe phantom is 10mm. But need confirmation. Any ex phantom riders who are riding super 4 and knows the size?

Voltage stabilizer = snake oil. Dont waste ur tym and money on it. It won't cure ur problem. Have u checked if any of the bulbs blow? If not, could be the flasher relay.

Not possible bro. Sp is 2T and ta200 4T.

 

Sp cub can be fitted to ta150 thats for sure

U can retune your cub and change better air filter and change to better sparkplug

Premium Engine oil and change to iridium plugs. But very minimum different. Tested and proven. Not worth it ah.
