[Discussion] Typical prices for Phantom repairs & mods

Hey guys, I'm new to the Phantom and this forum.

 

I bought a TA200 recently and its a great ride! The only discomfort is that the pillion legrests are rather bent (senget) which hurts my pillion's legs after prolonged riding.

 

I went back to the shop I bought it from but was told that nothing can be done about it.. sigh. This is a real bummer so I hope some of you experienced Phantom riders can share some advice with me.

 

If possible, a fix would be good or if not then I prob have to buy new ones. Either way I have no idea where to do so.. heh

does LAB or koon help you fix up things that you bought?

 

Cos I saw some threads about AB workshop (kallang) and LAB (Kelantan) are different, so I'm not sure if LAB is just pure buying of accessories.

 

also, any recommended motordiam for TA200 servicing that also carries mods and accessories for it?

LAB...well....if u dun mind waiting for a very long time.....and having to go to a diff place for them to fix it up.....

just go to ah koon at 61 lengkok bahru... he got lots of phantom accessories and does fixing for u... but u must go during e right timing, if not gotta wait quite long cause for mods, its a one man show at his shop...

 

for lab, yes, their workshop is different from e shop itself... workshop at kallang, shop at kelentan lane... but this one, anytime u go also kinda long waiting time, best time is to be first customer...

 

so for u, i think ah koon is e best bet...

vse bro... ah chong recommended me vse... he say the other versions abit problematic due to age... so i was lucky to find a vse and bought it lor... n mods wise, i didnt transfer anything, only put boxes...

Dear Pkians!

 

i got this little problem on my ta200 ever since i change my bearings. It is some knocking sound coming from the left side of the bike. The knocking sound can be heard when i go over some uneven road or was negotiating a bend.

 

What could possibly be the problem?

Anyway, do any shops sell side covers for Phantom?

eg. The one that covers the rear brake fluid compartment

 

I want to make mine black, not not sure if I gotta spray it, or possible to buy it. Like the ones in the fire edition Phantom.

Hahaha, there's a fast and direct way to cure the gian! Go Sawadee-land and get it your own! Hahaha...

 

Side Covers to be Black? Spray your own lor!
