Hi, can any bros advise wat is the bearing for?

 

coz recently, i heard SCREECHING sound coming out from my left side(REAR).

 

I thouught is the chain and spocket. however, i doubt so..

 

Pls enlighten me wat is wrong....

hmmm... how did you tell it was from the left... could it be from the right? since the brakes are on the right there is a good chance they would screech to inform you they need your attention...

try oiling your chain and chain roller. if not, could be the freeplay of your rear brakes. or try washing your rear disc.

i dont think it can be removed & re fixed on again as thr's no screw nor nut to it..

need approval from lta to chsnge engine ..

 

Is changing the engine include the part where the EO is, rectifier, gears, clutch plates etc?

 

any idea how much? The closest i read is that someone exploded his engine & it costs $1100 to repair...

oops once I saw the term "tyres" it overwrite my brain... so I gave the price of both tyres...

Ah thanks guys. just took over an old phantom this am. Saw lycan's post of $90 so went down to change but ended up changing both cos was told the front one is IRC n it's suppose to be not good. also Change the front brake pump n some of usual small stuffs n ended up spending almost $300, double my initial estimates. Now can move on to cosmetic enhancements...

 

1st step is to let go the rear box. Anyone interested pls let me know. It comes with the usual black bracket. Looking for $100. The pic taken just but somehow it looks very new in the pic but it isn't.

Any grips that can fit 7/8 inch bars can be used. There's one guy using sports bike grips, I'm using kuryakyn ISO grips...

 

Kalyan's thread on kuryakyn thread got locked... saw all reviews say its very comfy...wanna ask more abt this grip..

 

- how durable is it?

- how long before the chrome wear off / tarnish

- how long before the rubber breaks/wear off?

- Is it plastic chrome or metal chrome?

- Does it absorb the vibration better than the stock or any other aftermarket grips?
