dont u know the power of internet ? many people sent apology letter in "why pay more" section... as they just paste the paper with shop's name..

actually, not intentionally. th guy made a mistake i suppose. was at kelantan lane, not th workshop so th work done isnt as professional ah.. hahaha.

but since th mistake is thr, i tried t switch it back but its alil troublesome t redo th wiring so id just leave it, quite cool isnt it.. highbeam is lowbeam, lowbeam is highbeam.. hahahahaha.

i rode 2days with highbeam too, din seem t bother anyone.. hahahahhahahaha.

Have you change the main fuse? The standard one should be 15A. I wonder if it needs a bigger one for the more powerful 35w/35w headlight.

I tried to turn on the new headlight tonight. However, I found all lights are gone after a few seconds. :help::help: It looks like some short circuit cause the fuse broken. I need to figure out the problem in the weekend.

TA200 now.

argh you might have bought the wrong bulb... the phantom's headlight might melt if you use a bulb that uses too much power... if you insist on keep the bulb you would probably need to change the fuse to 20A... at the expense of that the rest of the electrical system might not be adequately protected...

juz nice the bike discussion came....this morning was at loois molesting the ZX14 from head to bottom plus the undies.....

but thinking of the agent supports juz turns me off big time, unless Mr Lee has got some tricks up his sleeves....nevertheless, class 2 shall be TDM or ZX14.....

kawasaki is an odd-ball... because of agent's support... my friends all agree that the singapore agent is horrible in every aspect, but they have something else to rely on... and that is the malaysian kawasaki agent... they can get their parts very quickly since the malaysian agent is gigantic and stock plenty of parts...

 

anyway the ninja 14 is quieter than my phantom... it is worthy of its name... :cheeky:

1) I was driving along CTE/SLE when I saw the ERP was still on. It was 1030 on the car clock and the ERP still on. So I signal left to stop as i need to dig in my bag for the cashcard. At that point of time, there was this officer. When I almost insert the cashcard, the ERP also close. Then I signal right to move off. The Officer then look at the car number plate and write down the number plate. Haiix

So what's gonna happen next? Any demerits?

 

2) Was going to filter to the left lane. Then i didn't notice the speed that I was going. When I checked, It was around 65-70km/h. So I slowed down half way thru. Somemore I remembered that at that filter lane got sign board says 'camera ahead'.

So again what's gonna happen? Got demerits right?

 

Jialat sia like this. Today ferst time driving, today alot of sway things happen. Feel like putting aside driving.

 

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

are you saying riding or driving? behind wheel or behind handle bar..

i think it shd be ok ah, lane switching with th proper method regardless of speed has no offence. th camera SHD be for speeding only..

th officer took down yer licence plate might be for a survey of 'how many sg-ean forget t insert cashcard'.. lol.

 

look on th bright side, dont let one small incident spoil your life of wheelings.. cheers.

well...

 

there should have plenty of "no waiting" sign boards before that much dreaded 10.30pm erp gantry... just by stopping there usually would result in 3 or 4 demerit points... you should have just drove through and pay a $10 admin fee instead... never stop your vehicle in front of a erp gantry on an expressway...

 

nah... there isn't a different speed limit for the different lanes... 65 - 70 km/h is fine for all expressways... the lowest limit that I know of is 70km/h in KPE tunnel...

 

hopefully you get only a warning instead of an outright punishment... all the best...

Today just got license so wanna try behind wheels.

even i do parking just now hit the wall. now my dad's car side mirror got scratches.

I didn't realize there were no waiting sign.

OMG if get points. Furthermore the officer like only take down my plate number.

There were lots of other riders waiting there for the gantry to close.

ouhhh. lmao, i nvr ever dare t go behind wheels othr thn a forklift i used t 'drive' while working..

as in, th 'camera ahead' you'r talking about shd be speed camera or th traffic guide live camera, i dun think thy use these camera t capture those who lane change abruptly.. =\

Its not just seat height too, width and shape of the bike matters too. I sat on a kawa GTR 1400 recently and my toes were barely on the ground even though the seat height is only about 820mm cos the thing is so damn wide. Then I sat on a speed triple and it was about the upper limits of comfort (still tip toeing) with the same seat height. Then finally a K1200S with the same seat height but it was very comfortable.

 

Btw the K1200S has great ergonomics. Really good seating position, foot peg placement and the controls are sporty without being back breaking...can be used for touring too haha. *hint to mr chew*

 

Ay... probably the only BMWs i may get in the distant future are their trailies
