i was hoping for Rossi to win actually , so that he could minimise the ponits gap between Stoner. Cos it would be exciting to watch it Live at Sepang in October. But now, since Stoner has won, I dun think Sepang would be as exciting to watch as compared to last year already!

but on race tyres...Brigdestone is goin very well..michelin is struggling..

For F1 michelin is doing well...bridgestone is losing alot....

so what does tell you bout tyre manufacters?

it tells nothing.:cheeky:

since those race tire were never available to consumer.there made no different in actual material compond applied for avail consumer product.

it just like "Yamaha vs Rossi".consumer aint getting what Rossi has on it YZF-M1 while riding the common market model of YZF-R1.

end of day,it just marketing strategy.

Ducati was on fire this 800cc season.hope the japs will caught up in term of machine performance.

kudos to the stoneman.

i bet he will still ride hard in the remaining races, coz that's just him. a naturally hard rider. today it was about winning the championship, so IMO he rode sensibly.

feel sorry for rossi tho, but nevertheless stoneman is a worthy champion, he wins races... no dramas, no WWE-like conspiracies, just plain pure hard riding. and he worked well with the tyre rules which ironically were pushed forward by rossi and some other riders on michelin as well.

kudos to ducatis as well, who were on their toes and were the first to build and test the 800s whilst the Japs were still fiddling with the 900s. they are reaping the fruits of their labor and vision.

hey spidey u didnt go track day ha? hehe :offtopic: :spam: :sorry:

the 250 race was again very very entertaining. number34 Dovi rode very very well on a visibly underpowered honda to rattle the 2 powerful KTMs and was unlucky not to win. credit to kallio too, he rode hard enough to win.

it'd be interesting if those KTMs come in production spec...

Sucks man... This year is more like the race of the tyres rather Race of the champions....

i concur sigh....i shed a tear when they crowned stoner not cos am his fan but i felt really sad for rossi but i think most of us already knew that rossi won't win but this really drove the nail home.

IMO, todays race was like formula 1. but riders make the choice when they want to pit. and there is no way rossi could have won without changing bike with 10 laps remaining. everyone doing about 5 to 6 secs faster than him. the most, he would only have lost 30secs in the pits.

website claimed it was intermediate tyre(cut slicks). i feel the total waste in todays race was anthony west...he rode really hard in first few laps. also, the way rossi cut down 6 secs in a few laps. stoners launch was fantastic....and finally got a good glimpse of rossi's traditional overtaking procedure.

yeah, as many claim, rossi is good/best. but this is a team event. machine and tyres too. and stoner on board as done the best job so far. at least, he won the season like a champion. unlike 2006 champion, who expected so much from pedrosa.

anyone knows where is 34 DOVI going to in 2008? commentator said motogp...but dunno which team

This season is over....the nail had to be driven in no matter what. Fans of Rossi should get over it, because Rossi already did. At least Rossi dun quit like that Kenny something Jr, or pit in early when he was so far behind like some Alex Hoffman.

I also disagree. Seriously. Same bike, same tyres, but at the end of the day, different lucks. Next yr would be good, with more young riders, WSBK champ.

Agreed with Spidy. Look at the Duke pick up as compare to the any Jap bike. Rossi team really let him down. Anyone knows the actual problem? Commentator say it might just be a warm up problem.

well some are saying that Rossi blames too much on these things but I still feel tat things could be better if Rossi had better machine to ride with.

i think is a very fair race this yr, bridgestone have finally up to the standard. People will say if rossi have the tires ..... but he did ( all the few yrs back he did have it). just that this yr they don't have to support as the previous yr. Think about the rest of the riders that is using bridgestone for the past few yr....

haha i see melandri rattling the stoneman. and the movistar bike is as slow or even slower than rossi's bike. vermeulen and hopkins on the suzukis can also give him a good fight. IMO rossi is a good rider but on the GP grid these days no one is unbeatable. next year will be even better, with the likes of Toseland, Lorenzo, Dovizioso and many more sure to pose a bigger threat. heck, if they give guintoli a good bike, he can also fight it out... it was amazing how he rode that satelite yammy on dunlops...

yep we sure know that it is not easy... and i can imagine at GP level, it is even tougher coz we get to see so many different styles of riding, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, Rossi included...

I heard the commentors mentioned that 34 Dovi imay be going to the Konica Minolta taking over Shinya Nakano. Not very sure, but seems to be.

He's taking over Shinya Nakano's JIR team, but the sponsor would be Dovi's 250cc Sponsor, Scots something....Scots Tissue

His number, 34 is the same as the USA veteran Kelvin something, so the world is wondering Divososo wanna keep back his 34 or not. I would say keep it....I mean, we also see #46 in AMA and Sepang too, right? It's just a number :cheeky:

And many are also saying Rossi chooses Yammie, no one force him. A champion need not be #1 to be champion. A champion shows it in every race, no matter what the odds are. Bring on next yr, with Lorenzo, we can see great team rivalry. I dun like Jorge though

Bro, technology supremercy is a game of circles....machine, tyres. What goes around come around. Inferior, superior, these guys are world class riders. Every bikes have their pro and cons. What the Yammie has, Duc dun, and likewise.

When 46 did it on Yammie when he first raced it, everyone cheer the man for his skills, winning on a inferior bike. Now he lost it, everyone cry foul....come on. At least 46 is still fighting and not giving up so he could please you ppl next yr.

Geez....get use to not seeing the norms. I'm happy that 46 is able to bring up the benchmark of what it is to be a world champion, be it Nicky or Stone.
