Think is preparing for CNY thus cannot sneak off to ride. Was wondering since rich chalet is going to be on friday....will there be a sneak off to second link after that? Must make rich gian a bit... hahaha

Juz to share my point of view to those who have yet to venture out on a long distance ride, as a despatch rider previously, clocking over 200-400km a day is a norm for me, all i can say is, the process of clocking this high mileage in a day is very taxing.

 

But the bottomline i wish to highlight is this, always listen to your body and your mind, this is not NS, there's no need for any gung ho's ard, you as a rider, you are responsible for yourself and also RMB you have love one's waiting for you at the end of the journey. So be it a long distance ride or a ride in the neighbourhood, ride safe.

 

I've always stand by this rule of thumb, if i've been yawning more than 5times in a hour, its time to hit the bed and not the bike. You've only got 1 life, but u've got alot of chances to ride a bike. And lastly, alcohol and operating a machinary don't goes together, same goes for medications, it'll impair your judgement and lastly your ability, and you get a deadly concoction that will further lead to undesirable consequences.

 

As what Neo has pointed out all tragedies are a making of random events that leads to a final ending, one way or another theres alot of "what ifs", if this if that...all this are best left to historians. Not us, and thus i juz hope no one in future makes anymore remark about a fallen comrade, if u've got the wish to do it, make it known by face and not thru the web, as words being typed out on a keyboard doesn't fully brings out the emotions or feeling in you, and thus leading to unneccesary arguements.

 

 

All are adults in here Ride safe and also Type safe.

 

 

Deepest Condolence to the late ahky's family and also to those who were there that night, do not brood it any furthur, learn from the tragedy and stand up being wiser.

Since someone cannot ride into second link, how about from WC Mac via AYE, ECP, TPE to Jalan Kayu for Prata? Then proceed to the Damn Place for ice cream... any takers?

I second that bro. Each bears his own and we sure are pained by a fallen fellow rider.

Yet appart from what happened friday nights are a good "come together" nights and vince has done a great efforts to keep up the camaraderie among bikers.

Hope it stays safe in the future.

to keep a short story short, I ended up in Galang Patah and got lost at a place called Taman Nusa Piringti or something... After consoling myself with a plate of Kuay Teow Goreng and Teh Tarik, I topped up at a Shell station. The nice attendent there gave some simple instructions : 'left, and straight', he said.

Within 3 mins, I was on the highway home. End...

Come to think of it, this does not even look like a story.
