doesnt that smack of double standards?

wad to do...already living in a country full of double standards. cant beat them ...join them :D

neway saying u allow ure gf to ride is easy...but how many of u got gf who rides (not toking abt those whose gf already got license b4 they met u)? No scary tots running thru ure minds meh when u allow ure gf to ride?

btw i must make it clear that i am not totally against the idea (50-50 nia)

Now i understand how my parents felt when i wan to take up riding

Send me a sign, wanna leave it all behind

I'll be leaving the hands of doom...

Rearrange the master plan, take the future in my hands

To be free and not trapped anymore...

I am not sure why is this topic repeated over and over again?

Everyone is equal right? There's so many lady riders on the road nowadays..

I simply hated my ex cuz he stopped me from taking up my licence.. Wasted so many yrs of my life leh.. haiz...

As for asking if guys will allow their gf to get licence??

My guy did!!! :lovestruck:

He is the one who push me to go for my lessons etc..

Sending me to SSDC and back home..

This type of bf where to find ah? :cheeky:

Let your gf decide on her own.. if riding is her passion, let her go for it..

if not she will regret later!! :thumb:

Friends are like condoms, they protect you when things get hard!

Thanks for being my condoms! Dont worry i wont dispose you after using you :p

My girlfriend can ride if she wants to, but I'll make sure she is properly dressed for riding every time. I'll also teach her everything I know about riding and related things. Then we can go PG or other parts of M'sia together! :thumb:

A definite no.... I had a gf once who took up a bike licence when we were together despite my vehement protests... On her first ride to sch which i had accompanied her, she ended up buanging while she was entering the sch.. No cars or vehicles whatsoever, i was rather amazed at how she managed to ride up the kerb... Fortunately it was a slow speed turn, and so she ended up with only some minor bruises... After that, she got kind of a phobia and didnt ride again. Anyway i prefer her driving me around in her clk, which her dad bought for her... oh well..

I'm a cantankerous lugubrious weirdo. Enraptured by stone walls. Demented by love. Disparaged by my own soul. Besieged by languor. Suffered from acute distress triggered by terminal boredom and elucidation of rhodonderons and deciduous seedlings. Searched for serenity amidst the chaos but failed miserably.

current gf brought up the idea of getting a bike licence... After getting objections from her family and me, she has since dropped the idea and contented to being a pillion... Less of a worry for me and her family... Else every day n nite i'll be incessantly worrying of her riding on the bike...

Not easy to get your pillion to wear all these....

If she improves on her driving I will try and encourage her to ride.

My gf rides her own bike and is a sub-rider on mine. When i can ride again trips to PG together are planned to improve our riding skills. She also knows the importance of riding gear, so it's all good.

I am a lorry driver & everyday sure see at least one young lady rider on the road.

They look sexy to me, especially on a 2B sport bike, in a way that they are very focus, check blindspot & concentrate on controlling the beast. :thumb:

As I had mentioned on the other thread, got one time see a lady rider dress very sexy on a Fazer at Marine Parade. When she stop at the traffic light, most people (drivers & passengers) in the other cars are either looking or pointing at her. The pedestrain also glance at her when crossing the road. When the light turn green, no cars moves till she take her time to clutch in & take off. Fierce siah  :gun: :gun:
