The previous engine just kept loosing out to a rs125. But they did state they might have to change to a 4 stroke engine due to Emission Laws.

doubtful really doubtful that they will land on our little island, 4 stroke or worst, 2 stroke....Stroke the pix is most realistic....

Bike made in MALAYSIA. No such luck 500cc. Old 125 Mito 2 stroke engine had very little power. If its 4 stroke...i think bicycle faster! Pity cause its nice looking bike. I'm sure it wont be long when some those crazy people will fit a rd500 2 stroke engine in there...Ypvs 350,tz250,rs250,cr500,KTM250/300...its been done with old Mito. Maybe not in Singapore..maybe not yet!

when does mito does in malaysia?? is done in italy 2 stroke.. 125cc.. 2008 mito heard will b 4 stroke make in india becoz cost cheaper..

It's actually made to look like the Desmosedici RR, so that in itself is pretty special, considering there will only be 1,200 Desmosedici's wordlwide.

 

The 2008 Mito is made in Italy.

 

The previous model is now assembled by MOFAZ in Malaysia under licence by Cagiva.

according to an Australian bike mag i read,the 2008 mito carb is electronically controlled in order to pass the euro 3 laws..

In February 2007, Malaysian company MOFAZ announced that they will be assembling the last batch of the Mito 125 for Malaysian buyers. Only 300 will be made for this production run. Two colours will be made available which are matt black and classic red.

 

unfortunately.. i tink this bike is only for malaysian riders.. tsk tsk.. unless someone manages to import a couple.. which means that the prices would be sky high for a limited edition bike...
