I suggest you keep an eye on garage sales. Many a times track riders will try to unload their tyres which were used for afew track sessions.

Bro you know anything about the Box type thingy near the back suspension below the seat?? It got something to do with the valve I guess...

 

i think thats where the exup thingy is.. got something to do with the O2 sensor.. when change full sys they remove that and replace exup plug so that no error code come out on display..

Do you guys clean your chain? Mine is 12K running, not yet clean! If yes, what degreaser? Many said kerosene, some said OWS 610, some GT85.

Hey everyone, im riding my r6 06 and currently while riding at gear 1 and i drag it to rpm 4-5 theres a tingling metal sound and same goes to my gear 2 and 3..i drag the rpm further and the noise gets louder. but when i clutch in and at neutral and play with the throttle, theres no tingling sound...anyone experiencing the same problem as me?? HELP ME!!!!!! i scared it might cos a bomb to repair whatever cause the tingling metal sound..which shop to repair r6. i just bought the bike a month ago.

Ok if the sound is like a screw loose it is highly likely to be a corn rod bearing issue. Can be costly, bring to a mech.

Will let go by Feb 2012, so if you know of any interested parties please do spread the word. I will put up a posting by next month.

By reading your description, it doesnt sound like yamaha tick to me.

 

Best is go check with a reputable mech. Cos we also cant figure out the exact sound your bike making. Dont wanna give you false assumptions.

Personal reasons dude. Also, i may want to get myself a car sometime in the near future. Right now i've already played around with the bike so i've had my fair taste of class 2 bike. Maybe if in future i got spare change i'll get myself back onto a 1000cc.
