Anyways you'll probably bump into me there on sat afternoons after my gym sessions. Careful when going down that car park slope on wet days, the metal drain gates almost made me slip a couple of times.

Hi guys,

I maybe plan to get a brand new 2012 R6. Got 1 enquiry.

You guys knows the Number plate and the signal light there's hanging down from the tail light right. eversince the 2008/09/10/11/12 models.

I seen alot of R6 number plate which was not the same as the original one which is of course nicer. The original one is ugly.

1) From what i seen it should be illegal changing that plate and signal lights right?

2) If it's illegal, TP usually close 1 eye for the number plate? they usually focus more on illegal exhaust?

3) And how much to change it?

Hi BlueBlood,

Thanks for replying. So it's called a rear fender. I see

So a Aftermarket fender that cost about $120-$130. So far i seen all R6 riders changed their real fenders though.

Any opinion on this?

remain the same stock size number plate will be better if u planning to change but it will not pass inspection.

Fender usually they are okay with it. Normally ask you to change it back to stock. But some tp or lta may fine you over fender. Depends on your luck.

I think you should consider your choice of buying a R6 because Yamaha has an unbearably hot engines and they are not pillion friendly.

I will suggest a Ducati Streetfighter or a GSR 750.

Because it's a street bike, not exactly performance bike. Just put Akrapovic. Easy.
