Does our bike have lap timer? If there is, teach us how 2 use it.

There's a built-in lap timer. But damn difficult to use in the sense of activating the starter button during twisting the throttle. Read the owners manual. It teaches you how to use.

Hi Guys, new to this forum! found this site from google. nice too meet you guys!

Into: i am from Malaysian and used to own a kawasaki zx10r but coming to work in SG next week for good.

So really want to get a new bike and i would really love to own the 08/09 R6 which i have been watching countless video reviews of!

so my question is:

1) How much is the 09 Yamaha R6 in SG? (does it cost the amount quoted above?)

2) I have full B (500cc & above) license, but how to go about converting it to a SG license and if its possible?

3) Which Motorcycle dealer would you recommend in SG?

Appreciate your advise and thank you in advance! :cheeky:

1) Cost of an R6 varies..brand new or 2nd hand..or salesman see u as a carrot head or not. A sad fact of motorcycle stories in Singapore. To help u abit..my machine price R6 08 is $18.5K(last year). BUT if ur're a seasoned bike owner/buyer..machine price is not ur main concern. U SHD COMPARE MONTHLY INSTALMENT frm shop to shop..(downpayment and interest being constant)

2) .... Not too sure on this.

3) To buy a Singapore registered bike..a Malaysian needs to have 2 Singaporean guarantors(a motorshop ever told me this). This can be a challenge for you..

The question about which shop to go..every shop is the same bro..plus and minus here and there. Unless they know u well..then u can enjoy special discounts here and there at the expense of other consumers. Its a life cycle..

I am being well taken care of by Imotoring @ Bukit Merah

Others here will tell u shop A, B, or C

Which ever shop u choose..I wish u good luck..be smart!! :thumb:

Thanks DUDE!

1) Sorry forgot to mention, looking one first hand R6 09 if to expensive, then R6 08 second hand!

2) No worries will check.

3) Singaporean guarantors, my uncle & aunties would be good then!

Sorry but could you provide me with full details for Imotoring @ Bukit Merah please will check it out next week ? thanks

eh?? u which one?? I didn't see any other R6 bike..

Wat do u mean??..

I knew them..i follow Ah Tiong from his Southern days to Imotoring..

My frens even thou nvr buy their bikes frm Imotoring got special rates thru me..for servicing.

Frens who bought their bikes frm Imotorig thru me got a price can't match by any other shop..

I'm truely felt indebted to the people at Imotoring..nvr been treated so good by any other shop.

I was well supported by them for my Supermoto races @ Tuas..not sponsored but supported like billing me very low labour costs, near cost price for parts..etc..etc..

My R6 was bought at a good price with a Leo Vince full system..@ a TOTALLY UNBEATABLE PRICE.

Well..all shops are the same..before I got "special status"..I was a CARROT before at previous places.:faint:
