Hi guys!! I am actually planning to get the brand new r6 and was quoted 19k machine at bike production.. Would it be wise to get it there? With all iu, coe and road tax w/o insurance? I am paying full cash.. Some advice from the pro's would be appreciated

I saw this midpipe on sale by unique

If just by fixing this midpipe instead of going to seng kwang to decat serve the same purpose?

I am thinking of getting a termi pipe too or any better slip on pipes you guys would recommend?

I already went to asphoon but their otr is 22500 without insurance i think.. I shall do my final survey this friday then.. If im not wrong bike production's price is 22000 with insurance..

 

So basically changing to midpipe would mean cutting of the cat box? Should check out with unique then.. Hopefully can hear more inputs from the experts so by next week i can do the necessary mods!

 

So looking forward to join the r6 group!

BP would offer u a very good price.. if they allow u pay full cash go for it.. cos it's much cheaper den the rest.. but the thing like naruto say is whether they allow u to full cash.. pm me regarding the shop..

seng kwang can decat for u for u will either still have the cat box or they will customise a mid pipe for u. if u are gonna get a mid pipe might as well get from unique cos it's a t tuner.. u pay for the t tuner they take out ur cat box for u. termi best slip on plus a t tuner almost like a f/s alr..

if u change a mid pipe ur air / fuel mixture all mixed up alr cos the flow is different alr.. if u dun get a pc to tune ur bike they bike will most prob feel very rough and u will not feel much of a power difference. only hear a louder sound. if u juz change a slip on dun reli need to retune. but if u changing mid pipe all best is to get a pc to retune.

no la my bike now can hit 210km den reserve la.. if u keep it stock can hit abt 250. not so kia lat la 180km.. haha

it may also affect ur F/C even without a pc cos ur air/fuel flow is very different alr.. and i'm sure if u do ur mid pipe u will not like how ur bike respones cos it'll be rough and have alot of lags. by putting in a pc means u can tune ur bike.. u can also tune ur bike to have a better f/c ma.. but of cos better f/c = lesser throttle responds and power. a gd tuning is when u have power and ur f/c is not tat lousy.

yes they will cut out the cat box and fix a t tuner.. unless u do it liek desmond he juz clear the cat box and leave it there. tat 1 he do at SK for abt 200+

Wow bro thanks for the detailed explaination! So which means if a t tuner is fixed the cat box will be removed totally? For inspection time wise then lets say for a new bike 3 years later would that be a problem? Like do they really go n check it toroughly?
