The question wasn't exactly useful for us to provide inputs in the first place. Theres like thousand and one things that differentiate the R6 and CBR600.

 

Should have posed a question like - In stock form, what is the differences in horsepower, torque curves, fuel economy etc, between the R6 and CBR600.

Personally speaking, i'm sure some of us have yet to own both at the same time or in different times so its hard to provide inputs on the bike on a personal level.

Which is the kind of information available if one does a Google search. Theres tons of shootouts between the 2 (including a 3some with the GSX-R600).

Mine is 2008 model. Unsure if its going to fit your 2001 model then.

Btw all accessories goes to new owner unless he doesn't want them.

I am trying to tone down the excessive speeding. Been cultivating the 75kph habit in KPE. Somehow i find myself more tired riding at slower speeds. I need to get myself a Honda wave to get to work and leave the R6 for the weekends up north.

Oh i definately know where the cameras are, its just that i'm trying to ride within the speed limits. Now with the increased presence of unmarked TPs.

Anyone got any comment how the 06 fare against the 08?

I am selling a Street legal Akrapovic oval titanium slip on,w/cert.There is a slight scratches at midpipe area.This is by right for R6 03-05 models.But non R6 owners can buy it for ur experiment,at ur own risk.Item sold,NOT returnable.So pls view first at cck to confirm its dimensions n size.This end can is light in weight,and has kinda loud and bassy sound.R6 03- 05 owners who wish to switch their stock pipe with me,will just have to top-up $200 only,and I will do the switching for u myself.

 

Pls don't snowball further as I am already selling it at a crazy giveaway price

 

P.s: The scratch is from the previous owner.Never affect performance,no holes,and no carbon built-up.Sms me at 90609838.I can watsapp/email u close up pics.Thank u and ride safe! u close up pics.Thank u and ride safe

Worst part, forgot to ask for servicing and WARRANTY.. ****.

No diff leh... I riding 06.... my friends riding 08 and 10 both bike can go up to 280++

drag got diff lah cause diff headers and mapping... Just looks diff... And stupid chip which is so special called diff... But to me got not much diff....

Unless u go track lah.... U will see diff... It all depends on the rider... U can ride an r6 12 but in track u lose to an r6 05... Or ppl are stupid enough to play drag with r6...

y sian? wad kind of feedbacks? now still not sure shld i get R6 or ZX6R.. hmmm... btw im 1.72. Am i too short for this bike? =S

Zx6r is a monster bike. Comes with free ohlins damper also. But parts are expensive though, unless you plan to use your zx6r for long. Not 3 year or 2 years change bikw
