Actually the stock evo's clutch is easy to drive up car park. No problem at all.

It's when you put those racing clutch that gives you problem.

bikes put racing clutch also difficult to ride ain't it?

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

Actually I see there's nothing wrong with the car dying off.

Why is it that Performance car always face negative critics? When a performance car get involved in an accident, people will say the driver is speeding and serves him right. When a performance car engine died when going upslope, people will laugh at him saying he has got no skill. However, no one says anything when a normal saloon does all these things. Just wondering why the discrimination? Is it just wrong for someone to own a performance car?

Back to the topic, I trust that the Evo is on a Twin Clutch system. Usually, TC cars install Twin Clutch (or even triple clutch) to reduce clutch slip during tracking. There are couple of brands of Twin Clutch like HKS, Exedy, OS, Ogura, etc. While some are almost close to stock clutch feel, there are some that has a hard feel and finding the biting point is always very tricky. Thus, this makes going upslope even more difficult even after getting use to the clutch.
