backside itchy... dropped in a PCIII to tune up the bike cos have the feeling somewhere setting not done nicely... so now the bike runs nicely but wallet hole deepens...

Hi everybody, old newbie here.. used to ride the FZ6S in the yr 2005, had to give up cos no money pay insurance... sobs.. now wanna buy again.. was looking thru some sites, need some guide here,

was quoted 13K OTR (exclude ins) for the FZ6S, loan at 5% p.a.

is this expensive?

i remember i bought my last fazer at 16.5k in dec 2004, after reading the 1st few pages of this thread feel like i kena cheated.. haiz..

i asked the bike shop liaoz. 12.8k FZ6S, wit one free fullface helmet (KBC brand max size XL), a set of slider (3pairs), headlight protector. 5% p.a. but 1 yr free for me as i taking 4yrs loan. so me every mth paying $305 for 4 yrs. ASP at serangoon rd. you can still bargain abit like i get a 46L box with barrack (Kappa brand) at $200. This is their hari raya promotion. until this sat. ^_^

slider is good... is it motovation? should be frame, front & swing arm sliders set...

headlight protector is good too...

 

but interest kinda higher...

13k is for S1 model, for S2 model is 14.5k otr..

 

i have been keeping up to date with the market prices!!

 

so far my deal is still available at 14.2k!!

Top speed to what extend, whether mod or stock, if the machine is built to such capability that's the most it can go, the rest is still the rider, not the bike.

 

Been to phuket think about 4 to 5 times, hatyai, countless. Thought I could join you guys but went for too many trips this year and got to reserve some leave for family at year end. Nevertheless, to all bros riding up next month, all the best and ride safe.

Ya, be it whatever "mode", it's a good bike after all, no doubt a detuned R6 engine, it's decent enough to be on local roads, fast and stable enough to bring us all the way to our neighboring countries. I'm still loving it!

put wat kind of alarm? den wont it be noisy if someone jus accidentally while parking knocked on ur bike? cos i used my big ass to pump a R6 before and it kao pei kao bu me. irritated.
