ERP Unit smashed

Hi bro, dam pissed today... this morning as i started up my bike, i found someone has smashed the LCD display of my ERP unit :angry: .. got 2 smash mark on the panel. I thought that was all but the f**ker even tried to pull out the cable attached to it, got cracks at the edge of the unit..

 

I tested the unit by inserting my cashcard. Sounded ok but dunno whether workable. Blessing in disguise that i had to go out earlier, if not sure tio ERP..

So just to ask how much is it to repair? i think for the unit must go to VICOM right?

When I read about the dangers of riding motorbikes, I gave up reading.

Lol i tot the nightmare was over... he came back with a vengence.. that time could not pull out my wire. Sunday i found my wire cutted.. WTF?!

Do a police report. It might not help much but at least they know. anyother one who got his bike vandalised?

I just love the looks, feel and sound of an old good Guzzi, though it has been around since the time of my Grandfather. I guess "they" don't do things like that anymore! Well it's not true.

fyi,.. its really super silly to steal IU bcoz as soon as it's reported stolen, immediately, LTA will automatically sensors that stolen IU unit number on gantries... hence if that bugger passes by, snap plate number.. prepare for court letter.. funny wad people do nowadays..

Haha, an IU is attached to the battery in the bike, how is he going to get it out without opening the bike. lolz

u toot or what.. wire attached only wad.. the rest of the unit is exposed. but problem is.. even thou u can steal, EVERY single IU registered to the bike number plate. need to change ownership of IU at vicom if u wanna put on another bike.. eg you buy second hand de. but problem is.. when you reported it stolen, definately they will know if someone try to get the stolen one registered to his bike. as good as commiting theft and go to police station to sell your loot.

Then for the first time since i got my license i skidded and luckily no major damage only bent hand brake and mirror...

Sorry if this is off topic,but what does it means when your unit beeps and says ERR on the screen.Sometimes it can work but sometimes it keeps saying ERR even if I never insert my cashcard in.Plus there's no light lighted up the screen.Had to use my hp to see how much cashcard value left.Help me out guys. ;.P

haha no la not just tow, it is plus the cost to jump start my bike and reattach the cut wire.. Now just pray and hope nothing happen to my bike for the next 11 months or so. Till i get my class 2 and change bike.:cheeky:

Are you riding a new bike? which make model?.. New shiny bike can induce jealous.. That why i leave my bike dirty... Another reason could be you ram..ram.. the bike around the neighbourhood... kena mark by the *******!!

Nah I riding phantom only some more got other nicer bikes around.. I also leave it as it is. The place i live around always got foreign workers move around, I ask my neighbours they say maybe might be them when they drunk or something although i won't confirm is them unless i see it as this is unfair to them. but nowadays i usually look out of my window more to check on my bike.... and also i nvr ram my bike coz i oso find it noisy when others do it :)

Sad to hear it man!... especially when he make a second attempt on your bike... might want to install bike alarm to prevent it from ever happening again. I install the one-way alarm from china-bargain, not very good so disable it for good. May i know which area do you stay?
