SEAFOOD TRIP on Saturday 12/09/2009

Time to Meet: 6pm for briefing. Move off by 6:30 latest

Note: We may be slightly late for the briefing, if the 1st testing for the Oiler needs readjusting.

Where to meet: Jurong Bird Park.

 

• Toll Charges:
  SGD 0.70¢ per In/Out via Cashcard;
  RM 1.60 per In/Out via Cash/Touch'n'Go

• Valid Passport with more than 6 months to expiry.
  

 

• Ringgits for own use(i.e. Toll, food & petrol);

The Restuarant is the one I scouted last week back at Orang Asli.

It's only about 20 ++ Km from GP Esso, so we should be there by 7pm.

 

I will be at the "Clinic" with Mepkoh for Project D.I.Y Oiler so guys who want to do up their "Oiler" too can meet me there before going to Jurong Birdpark to meet the rest.

3.20 pm.. brush chain with diesel..to loosen goo..before installation and running oiler.

3.30 pm distribution of kits..

4.30pm ..testing..and calibration..

5.00 pm..clean up mess..

5.30 pm..mass ride to East coast Park..and correct any failures..

6.00pm..ride to overseas dinner party.

great trip!!! great people, great tasty food, great ride on dark unlit roads and cheap petrol. Nice meeting you all. Thanks to all of you who help make my virgin trip up north so smooth sailing and fun!

yeah...the food is great...

 

i thorughly enjoyed it...

almost miss the trip....u guys may not know..after the diy...both my legs were suffering from cramps...but somehow make it...found a rest for my legs while riding..

i rested my achiles heel on the foot pegs..and it worked..the cramps were kept at bay..

 

my riding speed was bad very bad unable to keep in formation....it just that somehow my response is a bit slow...apologies..

on the way back to the malaysian icq..form shell station..one ,moment you are all there next you all seem to have dissapeared..hahaha

i must say the overseas seafood trip was awesome last night... wonderful food which is much much cheaper den in SG... not to mention the cheap petrol in there... pump 2 tank= once in SG... SG petrol price (shake head)...

 

new experience for new rider like mi... as the condition of the roads in malaysia is totally different... need to be more cautious... all this wont be possible without the help of the organiser and experienced rider like:

 

silent hunter (wonderful IC leading lost sheeps) hehe

snaple (marker cum safety)

jtzx ( safety and last man)
