It was a good weekend for the Singapore Riders..

 

SuperSports 600cc

 

#95 Oliver Castillo finished 1st after combined results of Race 1 and Race 2..

 

#72 Safarin aka ReinJahat aka the Boon Lay Nasi Lemak POWER finished 3rd..

 

Superbike 1000cc

 

#46 Doctor DOL finished 2nd..

 

#25 HArt Victor Leong finished 3rd..

 

Adding to all this, all the Singapore Riders gets faster by beating each and everyone's personal best lap time..

EVENTFUL experience race year for me...!!!

Can't believe i actually finish a season of MSS..Getting to the podiums are juz bonus for me..

 

1 half year back i was still riding my old CBR600F3..juz getting to know how track riding is like..

Came March 2007 buy a YAMAHA 2007 R6...& GGggOOoooo...RACE!!

Never would have i imagine in the position i am now..

 

I had good guidance from many riders...

Some are Excellent..some are utter rubbish..!!

BUT all are lessons and eye opener for me..

What Rein said is true..financing a season of MSS on your own will burnt a big hole in the pocket!!

He told me that he used about 10 sets for races and thats not including practices and qualifying..

 

1 set about $400-$500..

X 10 sets = apx $5K..

Plus..plus..plus = $10K?? maybe...
