anyway, strip the bike, and spray cleaner, or use other cleaners that won't destroy the paintwork, rinse/wipe with soap water

 

then spray wax, after some time polish the wax off with a dry cloth... there you go you have a shiny bike

 

for the running of the bike you need to change engine oil around 2000km, check every now and then if your chain is loose, either way the phantom have very few parts to maintain

Bike was bought 3+ years ago at MAH motor at $3k (abit tio tok). Bike was overhauled b4 resale to me. Mileage at purchase that time was 58k. Mileage clock by me was relatively low (bout 25k for 3+yrs). No problems with the engine at all, still sound very good. Minimum maintenance required as we all know Phantom is an easy bike. Highly recommend for new riders.
