The mgt at PG should control such acts , lots of guys think that the track is where they can do what they like , it is not a place to stop suddenly and evoke a pile up behind, imagine the others go to a track so that they do not meet IDIOTS like this on the road , now the track is invaded by such FOOLS and it is becoming more dangerous than the roads, you don;'t see Moto GPO riders do stoppie , wheelie yes ok.

Dear all, together with my wife, RedRocket and NoLogicOne, we have come up with a decal to remember him by. Its based on the Ducati Corse Shield with his nick and number 999 to symbolise his favourite possession.

 

Please note that this is not for profit. We intend to do a 100pc run to be stuck on the front mud guard of our rides. If anyone here is interested, I will let you know the cost price after confirmation with the shop producing them.

 

If no one wants them, then we would tailor the number of stickers down to an amount just enough for ourselves.

 

We do not have an agenda, nor are we out to profit from the demise of our close friend. We just want to have flowers with us everytime we mount our rides, be it on the roads or on the tracks.

His mother would like to request a bike convoy in his honor. I've just received word of this from the family. It's a last minute request to honor him.

 

Pls all, those who can turn up for the cremation.... pls help spread the news.

 

Be at Blk 56 Strathmore Avenue at 8:00am to ride with our dear friend for the final time. The convoy will set off at 8:45am.

A Request from Marcus mother, she would like to have a bike convoy for Marcus funeral tomorrow, from her house, Blk56 Strathmore Avenue to Mandai Crematorium. Convoy will leave 8.45am

If possible, it would be nice if we had Ducatis leading the pack, as that was Marcus' favorite marque.

 

All bikes are welcome, as Marcus was a proud owner of not only a sportbike, but also a scooter and a Varadero as well. He was a fan of all types of bike. A true biker!

 

P.S.

It would also be nice if there can be a KTM Superduke in the pack... As Marcus and I had a lively conversation just a couple weeks back, and he mentioned that this was the only other bike he was lusting after.

Totally different scenario, no one was on the GP bike and it did not stop there on purpose. That crash was unfortunately unavoidable, But a monkey brain rider doing a stoppie?? Its 100% avoidable with that arse off the surface of the earth

Yes Chris, this is sick, the management of the Johor Circuit. Like what Throttlestop said, PG Trackdays are deathtraps. Yes, the flowers we know, who hardly show up on kopi sessions with the 999s. His 999s is pretty delicated to the tracks, not street bling. I respect flowers for that.

Frankly, I am still not sure of the dimensions of the decal but it would most likely be around 8cm width with height of about 10cm. It might be smaller than that though. Would update here soon.

 

I understand that many of you know him more by his name than by his nick (I'm one of them), but we have decided that we will only produce the stickers with his nick. In our hearts, we know flowers is Marcus, and thats enough for my group of friends.
