As a sign of respect to Marcus, I hereby officially declare that i quit teaching stunts to all riders. Even though i stopped long time ago. Please dont approach me for pointers anymore. Though I cannot stop them from learning other places, the least i can do is stop producing new freaks on the road to show off.

Dear All:

 

Motorsports are dangerous, if participants riding in a controlled circuit and abide by the rules, it is actually very safe.

 

Showing off is one thing, but stupid acts like this is not acceptable especially when it endangers other people's life. It could happened to anyone of us, you or me.

 

I sincerely wish that Marcus will Rest in Peace. His passion for motorbiking is indescribable as I know he's been putting his heart & soul during practices and i know it's for the ultimate objective of taking part in future races.

 

Let this be a wake up call / lesson for Everybody, especially for track junkies. Rules & Regulations especially safety must be strictly adhered to, if not something like that will happen again, then Marcus death will be in vain.

Could someone post the news? I am in USA, no access to New Paper.

 

Indralove, what I feel is, stunt is just like racing....there is no way to stop it, and they are both dangerous if done at the wrong place. Stunt riders do have great following here in USA, but when they do things like blocking the whole highway for a few minutes to play stunts before running away when the cops come, everyone curse and swear at them. However, the respectable stunt riders would do it at an enclosed carpark, just like racers racing in a race track. I do not condone stunt riders just because of one foolish individual who took away my brother's life, but the point is, everything will only be safe if done at the right time, at the right place.

 

Be true to who you are, and be a responsible and respectable one! Who knows, you could be the spokesman for stunt riding safety even because you are a good wheelie rider.

Sigh...May his soul rest in peace and a lesson for everyone to be really careful. Hope that his loved ones will be able to pick up the pieces and move on...am sure no amount words can heal their hurting. May God bless them.

The final journey was overwhelming. Marcus's dad used to be my indirect superior during my army days and he's reputed to possess remarkable mental strength. It was certainly heart-wrenching yesterday as I witnessed him consumed by grief.

 

As Marcus' memorial momento is already circulated, surely everyone hope that this sticker can serve not only as a memory of our late Marcus but also as a reminder to everyone in the track on how he sacrificed. And he will not die in vain.

 

We will meet again on the day when Christ rule the world, Marcus.
