I believe your battery is normal cos now there's more electronics to initialize for the Revo. As long as charging is ok, it'll be fine.

Last I checked at Looi's, a 3 year old Spec 3 Bold'or is 12k machine price.

Tips for a Safe Drive/Ride

Long Distance Travel

- Get a good night's sleep before leaving

- Avoid driving/riding for long periods.

Get a co-driver. Take breaks every 2 hours.

- All rear-seat passengers are required by Malaysia traffic laws to belt up.

Driving in heavy rain

- Turn on your headlights and wipers.

- Double your normal following distance.

Longer braking distances are required on slippery roads.

- Avoid hard braking to prevent loss of vehicle control. Etc fishtail or rear wheel skid.

- Crosswinds may cause your vehicle to veer off course. Look out for warning signs at danger spots and slow down.

Night Driving/Riding

- Avoid looking directly at oncoming headlights to avoid being blinded.

- Dip your headlights to avoid blinding oncoming vehicles.

- Do not speed, drive/ride to your own limit.

Longer reaction time is needed because of poorer visibilty at night.

- Flash your high beam when driving/riding around blind corners to notify oncoming motorists of your presence.

- Overtake only when you are on a straight road.

Cos the bracket for the fairing need to weld on the frame to mount up the head fairing.

Guys, spec 3 rear tail is higher then revo is it? I see some revo like higher or either I'm paranoid. Beside the posh thingy to make higher, is there any other way like jacking up the suspension?

Maybe Spec 3 rear spring rate dropped already therefore looked lower. The Posh height extender is not advise cos of unwanted sideways movement of the lower shock mounts. There is a mount made by Yamamoto Racing. Pictures below show's you the item.

Increase your ride height a.k.a jack up your rear.

What type of riding you wanna do? That is the question you wanna ask. Sports, sport-touring or commuting... Each type has their own selections of tyres that performs differently. Durability is also another factor to consider.

BT090/BT092 falls under the sports category.

get a pair of Ohlins shocks.

it increases the length by 5 cm if im not wrong.

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

Good morning guys... I recently bought myself a revo. Less than a year old but still 2nd hand one. Really glad to have some form of transportation after more than a year of not riding. What are the sign I should look out for if the brakes pads are worn out? When I engage the front brakes, I hear some "hissing" kinda sound. Since it's been a long time I last rode a 400cc bike, I myself am not sure. I asked my friends to try it out and they told me to replace the pads as they are pretty well worn out already...

How do I find out if they really are? Thank you and I'm really glad to be part of the revo family! :D

check the pads urself, if worn out then pls change asap.

see the brake fluid level too, if too low meaning brake pads worn out alot.

if brake fluid colour darkens, pls bleed ur brakes

Thanks for the advice SparkerS1! BTW the DOT4 level is still good and color is good. Don't see anything wrong with em.

When you upgrade from riding a RXZ to super 4, Do you feel any major differences in the steering? My steering seems to follow through whenever I make a right or left turn. Will check my tire pressures again today.

Thank you guys! :D
