Had I lowered the fork then the tip of the bar would have touched the tank without rotating the the handle bars towards myself. Yes I rotated the handle bars towards myself.

if the handle bar is at original position and u only lower the fork, will not have any clearance problem when locking the bars.

notice where are the bends of the bar & check how rotation adjustments will affect clearance

Thanks for those, appreciated. Will look in to them and get one.

Had I lowered the fork then the tip of the bar would have touched the tank without rotating the the handle bars towards myself. Yes I rotated the handle bars towards myself. I think getting one of the clipons above will be my only choice to achieve a more sporty riding position without sacrificing steering lock and tip of bars touching tank at full lock.

If you lower the fork, your handlebars will still be in the same position as your bars are mounted on the yoke and not the fork tubes. So only your fork tubes are sliding up/down your yoke when you lower the fork.

So far haven't considered lowering the fork. What exactly will lowering the forks achieve, will it actually make me lean forward more in a sporty riding position?

If not I think I will get a set of 41mm clip ons.

Fazli I had a look at that Hurricane clip on you posted the picture of on Japan Webike but it's too expensive.

What do you think of this clip on which is also Hurricane from Japan Webike

Hi guys, I've been reading up abit on the bike and am interested to know more. Here are some of my queries..

1) FC: i know it depends on rider, but what is the average or the range? Eg: 20-24km/l

2) OTR price

3) How is the maintenance like?

4) Is it a reliable bike?

5) Compared to spec III, which is better? heard alot of ppl commenting no power etc. and ppl prefer and are going more for spec III compared to revo

I'm using the bike mainly for transport, riding from east to west to work, and going out on weekends, plan to do some light travelling in m'sia as well. I plan to buy 1st hand.

My main concerns are: good FC, low maintenance and reliability.

Your advice is much appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys.

the most i can get from my revo was 26km/L and that is 90 to 100.open vtec rarely. was just trying to stretch my fuel tank and that time.

otr price not too sure.

bike maintenance so far, i change engine oil every 4500 km, oil filter every 9000km, and spark plugs for iridium, 20000km. that what im doing.

very reliable bike. it is really a low maintenance bike, depend also on how u ride.

comparing, cant help u on this part. dont have much friends riding a spec 3.

Well I lowered the fork by 15mm but think it's too much as the steering characteristic of the bike has changed from the short ride I did from the mechanic back home. Will take it for a longer to ride to decide whether too keep it that way or reduce it to 6-10mm.

Has it improved the riding position to the way I wanted it? Yes it has but at what cost...I'll need to ride it a bit more to figure that out.

If I can live with it ok if not will opt for clip ons asap.

Good evening fellow biker broz... Here is a quick and technical question. I've read about red rev, power abuser, power ignite and also PC 5. I understand that each of them serve a different purpose in enhancing our bikes capability. So my funny question is, Has anyone came across someone who has installed them all? Especially a revo because of PC 5?

Imagine a REVO with Power Abuser Auto + Power Abuser Ignition Kit + Grounding(electrical enhancements) + PC 5 for ability to tune + Red rev to remove the power cut. And of course Yoshimura CF full system just for kick! Lol....
