Could be many reasons:

- spark plug

- dirty air filter

- burnt connector or wire

- many more that I don't know

Best is to ask your preferred mechanic to check. :)

Hi evry1 who can assist...

Pls help here......

I juz bought a spec1, which has a Dyno-Jet and Yoshi Cyclone fixed by the previous owner.

Everything is good about the bike and engine is very smoooth too.

But the fuel consumption is a bit on the high side, only 17-18km per litre(shell 95)

I knew that the air setting done is high (bike when cold, start it, rpm goes to 1000

when its hot goes to 1.25rpm) I ask the previous owner y he set so high,

he stated that if the rpm set below 1, there will be knocking sound since

the Dyno Jet has set the carb and the Yoshi at that point. i didnt try to change it,

kinda worry it affect all the engine too.

Now those whom had used Yoshi and Dyno jet, is it tru that I must set the rpm high?

what should i do? Can I adjust the rpm lower then 1, so that the fuel consumption is lower?

BTW- any1 got a weblink to spec1 2002 service manual?

Thnx in advance evry1

Slightly higher idling is fine, not more than 1.3k rpm for your settings.

So far only the Revo service manual is available.

Hi guys,

I just bought a CB400 from a private seller and just after paying and right before I was about to ride it home, I turned the key the wrong way and it snapped! Now half the key is stuck in the ignition. I heard it can be costly to fix as I may have to replace the ignition system?

any place to get revo which wont chop vegetable head. i intend to trade in my ver s for revo.

Based on my experience, the cheapest is always by direct purchase from seller. Alternatively, I would prefer to deal at Bike Production due to their efficiency in paperwork processing, and also they always have Revo for sales.. but this is purely my preferences.. cheers.

wah.. you turned the key real hard har? Maybe you should call Boon Siew up.. I don't think you need to replace ignition system if they have a way to extract the broken key out. :)

err... that's the owner manual, bro. I'm also trying to lay my hands on a service manual. Anyone wants to share the cost with me?

Hi guys! There's New tyres Bridgestone S20, Check it out! Not Sure stock in Singapore or not yet.

S20 not in SG yet. IMHO, it's overkill for S4. I'll be fitting PR3 soon... :thumb:

Hmm... lately quite a lot of posts on non-Revo bikes.

Since when did our Revo thread become open to all S4??

Glad to know your bike is ok now :thumb:

But hor... don't understand your post leh...

Can you clarify these points please:

1) "my sensor spoil..zzz they place a new sensor for me"

By this, do you mean "throttle position sensor"? So, Racewerks replaced that for $300 and didn't solve the problem right? If it is the throttle position sensor, it's great to know that Raceworks also have the aftermarket TPS. So, don't need to change the whole throttle body like Boon Siew did for @muhammad hakim.

2) "equipment extreme, elson told me my turning kind of run..he helped me to wash and turn it..."

This one, I really don't understand, bro. What do you mean by "turning"?

Definitely not normal. You only mention vibration when in neutral. What about other gears when moving? Increased vibration?

Check your engine oil level and condition. If oil is ok, then most probably clutch plates excessively worn. If you can still change gears smoothly and there is no loss of power, plates may be ok. BUT some other parts in the clutch system needs checking/replaced, e.g. clutch springs. Best to get your trusted mechanic to check.

@tzmdegil

BTW, have you checked the engine mount bolts to make sure none of them is loose?
