i got a revo recently and the fuel consumption is really bad. average is 15km/l (ride like hellrider) to 18-20km/l (ride like old uncle and never open vtec).

is this normal for revo?

also, i tend to travel only a short distance (10-15 mins ride) to my workplace everyday. am wondering whether its the start-stop traffic and the daily starting/idling that is contributing to the poor fuel economy.

If its an older bike, maybe can look for ah pek... His engine oil like got some magical properties to increase some FC.

Yes the DTC is the red 4 pin connector, I think the cables are colored Brown - Green

This allows the MIL dash lamp to flash error codes. Let me know the code (if any) and I'll translate it from the Honda table.

• The MIL has two types of blinks, a long blink and short blink. The

long blinking lasts for 1.3 seconds, the short blinking lasts for 0.5

seconds. One long blink is the equivalent of ten short blinks. For

example, when two long blinks are followed by five short blinks, the

MIL is 25 (two long blinks = 20 blinks, plus five short blinks).

• When the ECM stores more than one DTC, the MIL will indicate

them by blinking in the order from the lowest number to highest

number.

I think it translates to - MAP sensor hose connection, TPS circuit, No.1, No. 2, No.4 injectors however here's the table, hope it is legible?

Has anyone done a reflash for ecu on your bike? If so where can it be done?

What are you trying to achieve? If you are in search of more power or fuel economy I would Google "motorcycle dyno testing" to find a local tuner, they will be able to advise. You may need to purchase a "Power Commander" or similar if a re-flash isn't possible.

Does the Stator have AC voltage output, if yes then:-

Regulator/Rectifier are reported to be fragile and is therefore most likely the cause. This is under the left hand side panel, all connections/voltage measurements can be checked here. 3 x yellow wires = ac from stator and the other 2 pin connector is the DC output to the battery. Cost is around US$40 for a pattern part, available from sellers on eBay or AliExpress. Search for "Regulator Rectifier For Honda CB600F (HORNET)07-10 CB1000R 2009-2014 CBF600"

If no AC voltage I doubt the Older S type stator would be suitable, it has a different part number.

Hi

This morning as per normal I start bike and rode to workplace, however when I park at my workplace there is a high pitch whistling noise coming from the lower front of the bike.

When I rev the bike, the whistling sounds goes away.. it comes back when it's idling at 1 rpm. -_-

Any idea/opinion on what is going on?

Thanks in advance!
