Anyone knows where to get STRAIGHT handlebar for phantom? or is it call drag bar? how much roughly?

hi guys,

 

am pretty new at this so pardon the naivety. been riding a phatom for a month now, fantastic bike but i notice i look quite funny on it, mainly bcause i'm quite big size la and the riding posture makes the rider look quite unnatural, like confused whether you want to lean forward or lean back.

 

my theory is that its the handlebar, the design and position. i think if its longer/ more spread out, the rider will be forced to lean back and appear more relaxed/natural. anyone got sample photos of riders with modded handlebars. Looking at the handlebar itself from the gallery like no use like that, cannot visualise. what you think...

very difficult to squeeze between cars ar... initially when i first got my bike, keep knocking on other car's rear mirror...

nice handle bar and grips and nice big side boxes and nice matt black scrammie helmet!

may i know what they are specifically eg. brand and make? and where you got them from?

next question, where can i get a rune or is it VTX headlight? looks like a bullet but has a sharp edge at the top. lemme show you a pic of it.

 

does madman have one that look like that? or madman's is just bullet?

what i've known, there's 2 type of bullet headlight..

 

hehe, seems like great minds think alike.

 

i will be aiming for the 1st row, right side headlight. looks like arlen ness one.

but i gauge it would cost $70- $80.

the headlight pic you showed also comes in 2 pieces (else how to put the reflector & bulb in?) Look carefully at the reflection in the chrome. The joint where the 2 pieces come together will be very obvious

Me also thinking of changing headlamp, currently shortlisting the bullet light like the one on tweakmax's

he most probably have to order it.. trade in your old tank for the bigger 1? have to ask him about that.. big tank = 1 month 2 visits to petrol kiosk.. wow..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
