wow thought i the oni awake lolz SNapEl the bullet made of plastic or metal? will melt easily?

ehh... plastic. Used for 3 weeks plus liao haven melted on me yet lolz. I used the bulb that came with it, haven tried changing to brighter ones yet.

The plastic ones from LAB may/will eventually have the top catch mechanism to break due to vibrations. Very common. 2 screws on the bottom side may be enough to show no visible gaps in some headlights, but rain water may seep inside.

 

There's a bigger version (yes, even bigger than LAB ones) at Koon. It's a cross between the VTX's and Midnightstar's. It's HUGE. I dont know the price and quality though.

 

Best to get solid metal ones, many designs somemore...From who else but Madman himself

I wasnt referring to the 'Pink Phantom setup'. That's an HD RoadKing-lookalike setup, and it's more expensive than bullet headlights that you asked about.

I would say it's about the same, or slightly dimmer than stock. The high-beam is as good as nothing though, so it you're in it mostly for practicality, i would discourage you to go ahead with it.

 

You dont need a reference for the item. Just go and ask for 'Phantom Bullet Headlight'. By any chance the staff are blur, just look out for a hanging sample, above the counter. You shan't miss it.

Lol fixing it up is very fast one.. btw the top catch for mine broke liao lol. super glued it back and added some tape to brace it.

Yas did you change yr bulb to a brighter one?

No i did not. I use stock. Just dont use H4.

wow didnt really bargain much as kind of rush today. But i see all the connection come in pin size so am i suppose to cut the original 1 to fix it in? any suggestion for mi?

yup... have to cut the wires and reconnect to the original wires... best to cut the original as near the bulb socket as possible so that if any screw up (or change another headlamp) still have sufficient length for another go...

Lol i shafted the pins into the socket and insul tape the whole thing.

chuan which means i have to remove the headlight casing to cut as near as possible? another issue is as long as we use stock bulb then H4 its very safe rite, but how to tell its a norm o H4 bulb cause actually i got 2 spare

H4 bulbs are usually boxed up and are more expensive. Plus you cannot hold the glass part of the bulb. I reckon you have the stock ones...

I want those in 1 piece for each side instead of 3 separate pieces like in Custom 4 . it's not those big ones like Road King though, just 2 tubes without any brace / flat piece between the tubes.

No need to go because of the change - it's legal.

You will need to just go for the annual inspection.

heh its a yearly thing ba unless u toking about brand new bike which can siam for think 3 yrs . Anyway wide handle is not a problem to us so u dun worry about the inspection furthermore b4 us there is alot of senior test fire liao u can try to dress up the phantom but not add on extra lighting

cause its sure comfirm fail de and mayb will b stop by ROV
