is the 4gb worth to get at $398??? coz i was thinking if i pay $798 for the pc900 y not pay a bit more for a better specs notebook but bigger n heavier... can't seem to make up my mind if i shld get it..

 

n do anybody know where i can get the pink color version? i asked at the IT fair today and they say no stock

personally dont recommend buying at sls even if it's cheaper.. few dollars savings just not worth it... not hard to figure out y.... :giddy:

 

 

Forgive me for being slow, but what are the cons of buying at SLS?

Also, can i check if fatdeals.sg is an authorized retailer with the relevant Asus (SG) warranty backing?

any1 having problems when using this os?

 

Im facing some here,

MSN not that user friendly and dont have video call function.

after I finish surfing the net, I close the firefox browser, it will hang.

 

thinking of changing the os to window xp

i even encounter fizzy screen when i try to switch off..

2nd time using it, the problem seem to be gone..

but i still feel kinda slow..

my system also abit retarded. when i click on the program icon, it take ard 3 to 5 secs then load up.

very disappointed...

In advance mode, u can install new applications;

The desktop seems like Windows XP; but much better if u install "compiz"

 

Take a look at

 

I got 4 desktop to work with and they rotate like a cube..

 

the compiz plug-in sure looks good. :smile:

I'm very tempted to get the Asus Eee 1000H, especially after talking to tt6389 and seeing it at Best Denki last night. That particular 1000H doesn't have Solid State Drive. It comes with SATA drive. The Asus Eee 1000H website even has the "*" for the SSD, meaning selected models have it :sian:

 

I'm very tempted to get it, more so when I realise it's not hot underneath, not like a Lenovo notebook PC I felt.

Macbook I think it's more stable. Now the price for the Asus Eee 1000H is less than $700! Parisilk quoted me around $670 w/ GST and Fatdeals is about $10 cheaper but no stock
