You asked about "the rpm limits for each gear"..the manual does not say that and neither does the manual tells you what gear to change at.

Is there such a thing as crusing rpm?..I dunno know...what speed do you want to travel at that you considered "cruising"..you can always stay at 5 to 5.5 rpm for a very comfortable ride...just stay away from the "power band" at 7.5 rpm..regardless of what gearing you are in.

Stupid Hurts!.:giddy:Speed doesn't kill, mistakes does :faint:

What do you mean by power band at 7.5 rpm? to me it sound like after 7.5 rpm it will give u lots of power. i hear of bike sld not stress at high speed for long. i'm going touring to thail n don wish to stress my bike so like to know the ideal speed which is fast but will not stress the bike.

Read around the forum, find tat u know alot. thanks for the help cheers!!

The power band is the range of operating speeds under which the engine is able to operate most efficiently.

Yes..from torque peak to redline (7.5 to 13 for PB1). Try it..at 7 onwards..open your throttle and feel the quick build up in rpm.

No such thing as stressing a bike...what it really meant is stressing the engine at maxs rpm for example like staying at 13krpm thru out. Even so, if you have good eo with right additive, good cooling system and hish speed air cooling, your engine should be able to handle long 13k rmp run without burn out because its within the engine operation temperature limits. There are people who replaces their stock radiator with bigger ones for the purpose of long distance high speed touring and some mod with additional oil cooler..all for the purpose of maintaining the engine temperature operation limits.

hi

i dun think shops will allow 3rd party under hire purchase.. they will be worried your the bike gets stolen..

alternatively buy from private seller then you can buy 3rd party lo.. but i think its always advised to get 3rd party fire theft..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

spec 1 no hiss spec 2 and 3 have hiss. WHAT is HISS?

its a mirochip immobliser system which requires your key which has been preprogrammed to your bike to start your bike. Without it, the bike will not be able to start. Of course it does not apply if thieves cart away the whole bike.
