yeah lah.. cos its electric horn mah...

 

only air horn needs the compressor...

 

besides, air horn are so big... more for cars...

usually fast cars will put lah... bikes... i haven even seen bikes with 1 air horn... so... 7 horns... quite hard to find / fix i reckon...

 

typically, the file attached is the sound of the horns i've HEARD in singapore... twice.. both times outside MOMO on an Mitsubishi EVO

I remember one very clear incident at my school's car park.

I got to know this bunch of "Mats" aka Malay trend. Dunno how to describe.

 

One of this guy was on his friend's rxz bike. Playin without License i suppose.

 

When i went over to my bike, they were like all looking, who's this weird guy

 

so tall, using a arai mx helmet riding a Spark 135 Limited Edition.

 

So i started my engine and was smoking at the carpark. While waiting for my

 

bike to warm up. They talked to me like saying wah ur bike very tiong ar...

 

So like i was like nahz, just wear my helmet coz i dun feel like talking to

 

acquaintance that much or rather i dislike those kinda people. So as i wanted

 

to move off, as a kind of courtesy, i turn my head and nod to them. I realised

 

that his friend which was on the rxz bike playing his "small" sounded horns.

 

Damm irritating, so as i was about to move off, my mind was thinking.. Let me

 

irritate them. So i press my horn for very long. Guess what, the friend who

 

was playing his bike, got shocked and fall off the bike. LOLX!! They all laughed

 

at him, and i just move off with a beautifully corner that scratched the ground

 

on my footrest. CALL me HAO LIAN or whatever i dun care. Just dun like

 

people to irritate.

There are alot of brands of cdi to change.

 

There are afew brands of my knowledge.

 

1) Team Red Bull CDI -(most recommended, tested and proven)

2) Kitty CDI

3) Xbox CDI

4) BRT CDI - Some Indonesia CDI

 

I'm selling my BRT CDI for $70 cos upgraded to Redbull CDI.Actually not much difference.Only Redbull CDI slighter lighter throttle response.

Not really, u can't judge by just saying that. Because if you're trying to

 

say i'm behaving like one of them, tell me, who doesn't corner low and try ur

 

limits when u are firmiliar enough with that bend? If u dun play ur bike, tell me

 

i'll really salute you for your desire-controlling.

 

Secondly, i dun behave like them, because when his friend drop another

 

friend's rxz it hit a sparks which damaged the headlite and just ran away.

 

Lastly, Its quite funny to me, why should i behave like them? I'm chinese.

TPS.. throttle position sensor. or smth like tht. n if im not wrong, it sense how much u open throttle, den the slider in the carb open how much. i tink its like tht.

when i got my licence i also though of getting 2nd hand, since we are p-plate and it cost 4.7, and i bought mine at 5.4k diffierents is only 700buck to get a brand new bike.

By answering your question, Here's some advices from me.

 

Firstly, Getting a 2nd handed spark at 4.7k is alittle expensive as most

 

sparks are selling at ard 3.2k STOCK. unless if there are lots of accessories

 

like spoilers, racing cdi, racing footrest, tires, etc. If there are all this, price

 

at 3.6k is quite valuable. Just that its not a first hand bike.

 

Secondly, give that you're a p-plated, Mitsui insurance had just increase their

 

price tag again by $100. So a 3rd party insurance is abt 670$SGD

 

(price of 18), depending on your age.

 

Thirdly, you'll have to consider the OTR pandrice for a first hand and a second

 

hand spark. If its payment for 3years plan. Price should be around $128-138.

 

If higher, consider taking a first hand as i bought mine at a total price of

 

$5.4k OTR including the percentage of installment plan for 3years added.
