[CLOSED] SBF Yamaha Spark135

hi there,

 

Recently, i realised that i am having some problem with my spark135.

whenever i try to press the front brake, the bike tends to jerk quite badly therefore i always use my rear brake.

 

And, i think the problem is with the front disk plate. I think it is bend alrd.

 

And i dono if the problem lies anywhere else?? E.g the front rims

 

Can u guys give me ur views

are u using any aftermarket oversize disc? if u are den no need to say confirm is dat prob...

i am using oversize disc..i got no prob...hmmm mayb its ur cone bearing....juz like i encounter b4...

No bro, i am using the stock one

 

But still got the problem la

 

when i brake the bike tends to jerk

Can there be any other factors that is causing the problem

yes there is alot of other factor.. like wat kepalaPistol say is 1 of them, other could b wheel bearing too

I will try changing the cone bearing

And do u know how much will it cost to change the cone bearings for spark and cost of changing the stock front disc plate.

I tried changing my main bulb to a white halogen one back then. Forgot what brand. It was ok but then it blew after a few days. A shop told me the stock battery cant handle that kind of bulb. Is it true?

The shop is wrong mate - the bulb blow bec it is poor quality. Anyway if u installing as spec 12v 30/30watt there should not be a problem with the battery. Sure send me an email thru http://www.limbat.com.sg & i will forward u all the details. Local postage is FOC.... TQ for asking ..

Do you guys encounter problem when in the morning after you warm up your bike a while then ride off, and you cannot change gear? I will always end up with a stuck gear when i first ride off and will drag in gear 1 until i use the heels of my feet to press down hard when riding off. Lucky my place have to go pass a small road b4 hitting the main road or i dunno what to do. It happened quite a number of times le.

 

If possible what kinda of lubricants you guys recommend then i can try out first. Thanks.

durex nt bad la most ppl would recommend this for better feeling

try using 10-40w engine oil it is recommed in your maunel book gear shifting will be soomth

-wat EO grade are u using? that wan dat u are using might not b suitable too thick

-did u warm up ur bike abit longer in the morning before u move off cos oil needs time to warm up too...

-how much EO poured inside?

I think i using 20w40 EO. Hmm, then i will try to warm up longer next time and try.. That time i went to shop to help me do then the uncle poured in i think is about 800ml of engine oil.

Bros, check with u all... normally which lane u all travel, at the speed of let's say 80-100km/hr or more..

depends on road condition.. i usually travel in centre lanes..

Left lane.. our bike speed even at 80,90,100 is considered very slow for d expressway
